The Iowa Marble Club is holding a meeting on Saturday, September 26th, 2015 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at the Prairie City Community Building, 508 South State Street, Prairie City, IA 50228. Iowa Marble Club meetings are open to the public, admission is free and, as always, a tasty lunch will be provided. The Iowa Marble Club will offer free marble identification and appraisals as well as a free bag of marbles for the kids. A variety of antique, vintage and contemporary marbles will be on display from some of the nicest marble collections in the Midwest. Stop by to talk and learn about the history of toy marbles or even better yet -- bring your favorite shooter and knuckle down for a quick game of ringer! Don't worry though; the Iowa Marble Club doesn’t play "for keeps". Membership to the Iowa Marble Club is open to anyone who is interested in antique, vintage, and contemporary toy marbles.
