So, the "road" is running up and down on the bottom half of the marble and the "tunnel" is the ribbons of color that makes an arch on the upper half of the marble? Thanks for posting this by the way, I had been wondering what was meant by the term.

Looks Vitro to me...

Here is a photo of the bag I was talking about.

The No. 228 box came with a bag but I thought it was leather not suede. I could easily be mistaken though. Regardless, the bags from the No. 228 boxes had two yellow draw strings with no metal ends. The stitching was also yellow opposed to red as shown on the example above.

Vitro on the left. Peltier on the right. I'm not sure of the pet name for the Vitro but the Pelt is called a "Bloody Mary" and is in the tracer family.

That one turned a bit ugly the last time round if I remember correctly...

I am looking for the circular style board with knob (or no) feet and the painted battleground area similar to the one shown below. The first "Amana" show. Summer of 1977 in Davenport, IA. In the back of Gary Williams' Bail Bondsman's office. The show didn't actually move to Amana until 1978. The Amana show ran annually from 1977 until June of 2013 (36 consecutive years) when the Huxford's retired and I moved the show to Des Moines. Technically, this year will mark 38 years in a row that there has been a marble show in Iowa.
