I was surprised it was still there when I saw it. The funny thing is, Ernie had just bought an empty jobber box to fill from the same guy. Can't believe it got past him. and you sitting two tables away, Matt not far away either.....yeah, I got lucky. =}

Simple corks can be fantastic, such as those. And you have done well to photograph them nicely as well.

I do think this one might excluded from his main color project, as far as a fancy, I am not much of a CAC collector and am afraid I have never heard it referred to as such. All I know is it is the only one I have found and have have been told it is not an easy color to find. I love it.

Those brownish base are kinda cool, not sure I have seen those before. Here are some Yellow Jackets for you.

I have heard it used to explain the almost ridge like look of clear and colored glass where the color remains the same but there appears to be a movement of pattern. difficult to see but visible in the right light angle.
