  1. John, if you look around you will find them occasionally in many Alley collections. They tend to have that kinda scale like appearance and very in amount of scale look and are a rather tough find. I have yet to find one myself.
  2. Thanks to the both of you! Go for it John, I started doing it for some of my shooters not only so that folks can know the size when I forget to add it but so I don't have to find the calipers and the marble to answer a question. =}
  3. Very cool Winnie! I have had this shooter for quite some time, always thought it was Alley but the blue threw me off a little. Finally got confirmation of Alley and without the blue it would be a Sweet Baby Gray, I will just call it killer. =}
  4. Yep, I am still trying to figure out where I lived when that memory formed. lol oh, and I am happy I could help you grow that CAC collection a little. lol
  5. =} Oh and ....nice marble John.
  6. Steph, please put in the mail two pretty marbles and ten of whatever you are taking tonight! =}
  7. lol I have the same type of memory Cal Worthington Ford! Loud and crazy and always included some kind of animal in his commercials. Monkey, elephant, tiger.......it was a car dealership for pete's sake!
  8. This was a gift, it was found in the collection found in the Vitro plant/desk when it was closed and purchased.
  9. Akro patch. Not sure of any name per say. The royals are of different construction. I love the patches some are very cool.
  10. Yeah, so brave it will never happen again. lol
  11. Well I guess I had better add some green bricks to the pot so John's is not lonely. They were mine when I took the pic but found a new home with Terry Lundeen.
  12. It is more that a contemporary maker will polish that away, why Brian left the pontil I am not sure, maybe so it would be obvious that it is a new handmade and not an actual Brick. Pontil maks can look different depending on how it is finished, this looks to be melted smooth. Are you looking for views of new or old Pontil images?
  13. Those are a couple of Brian Grahams contemp bricks
  14. just received these as a gift today, thought since I just posted real bricks.....
  15. My name is Paul. From what I can see, it looks like an Akro and I am familiar with those colors on Akro corks. A couple more views may make that an absolute. =}
  16. I have a couple, I see it quite a bit in 1 inchers
  17. Ooops. a correction needed. I thought I remembered that green one to be Opalescent, it is not so no Ace there, but the other three are good to go. =}
  18. Calling Steph calling all Stephs lol since you liked the Aces above so much figured I would show you my latest Ace. =} I did not yet have a yellow, the bit of red is a bonus.
