    Similar construction on all three, but the one on the left glows brightly. Haven't seen a cutoff like it on an Akro before, but maybe it is?

    Does this mean CAC didn't make a yellow like this, or they didn't make a yellow that glowed like this?

    I agree not a gooseberry, or cornhusk. Not so sure about caramel swirl either. Thought those were the opaque custard base with the reddish/brown stripes.

    What about the Foreign slags, did any of them have the Uranium glow?

    Does "Vaseline" refer to the color of the glass or does it need to glow as well? Largest I could find is 15/16"+ From what I've seen (very limited sample group) CAC slags actually have more of an orange hue under UV

    Might not jive with popular opinion but why not "awesome cane-cut German marble"? Any Mica? What I find most interesting about these types is the color palette, lack of core, and construction. Interesting (to me anyways) when compared to those hand gathered/single pontil marbles previously called transitionals/Leightons etc.

    If you focus on vintage German marbles, there are some pretty legit traits I see on this one and wouldn't hesitate. To answer the original question, I think it falls into the general onionskin category more than anything else. Calling a cane-cut marble a 'one-off' is a bit of a misnomer but I get the gist of Alan's comment (and value his opinion).

    Just had a funny thought about a standard door that opened and shut at random, compared to a revolving door which seems a bit more predictable if it's timed right. And no, you wouldn't want to be that guy to try holding open a revolving door

    Base glass looks a bit milky. Sometimes backlighting it will help identify if there is a pole to pole construction which, along with pontils you'd normally expect on a handmade. Sure is a bright green

    Had a great time watching it last night! first thought we were going to be clouded-out but the clouds broke just in time for the latter half of the eclipse, which lasted a lot longer than expected. Spectacular sights.

    Is it a pontil in 1st pic that makes you think handmade? Doesn't really look like a pontil?
