  1. Vitro was in Anacortes a short time -- I have it down as 1989 to 1992.
  2. I'm 95% on board with Pelt there. 99%? I think it's Pelt. Just some little room for doubt because I'm having trouble reconciling the ribbon count. And you are very welcome! ❤️
  3. Nice start! Yellow cat's eye by the glowing Akros? White cat's eye by some Vitro Conquerors? I for sure had all-reds when I was little. And pretty sure MK Rainbows. I got a bunch of marbles in my stocking in 1976 -- that was age 14 -- clearies in a wide range of sizes. I loved those. Betting they came from Champion Bicentennial bag. Then around 2004 I said I wanted some marbles and my husband got me some. But they were new and my antique store owner/friend said they weren't the kind people really want and I felt so defensive I had to learn about what kind of marbles people really want ... and that's kinda how it started.
  4. Maybe Anacortes Vitro?
  5. 1. I have seen that color combo several times and I can't remember getting a satisfactory answer about what it was. I think maybe I saw it id-ed as Alley but for some reason I was uncomfortable with that. Maybe someone will say Alley now ... and maybe they'll add an exclamation point or a "totally" or something and make me believe it. 2. Ravenswood? 3. Felt "solid Pelt" on the last view (which I saw first), but then moved to "leaning Pelt" with the 2nd to last view. More views could help. 4. Sweet Vitro Tri-Lite. Not sure if it has another name. Don't think it's a Superior. 5. Leaning Vitro.
  6. I'm still "planning" mine. Been planning to plan for years. Sounds like I'll never do it. But lately I've been having fairly good success with following through on things I had been procrastinating for years. So it could happen .....
  7. Sounds fun. This will require some thought ...... be patient ....
  8. Fantastic! I need to reexamine my unknown swirl tin.
  9. With the blacklight, I've found a Master-like structure on clearies. Sometimes part lighting up and part not could come from it not all being one color of glass. The blacklight has led me to discover that some which looked like red clearies actually had both yellow and red glass. It's fun to maybe get a clue to a maker of a clearie, but mostly I think it's a sign that the makers didn't worry about consistency in their glass just as long as they were getting the basic clearie look that they wanted. Whatever colorants they mixed into the batch may not have fully mixed. Would be interesting to know if MK made their clearies on the same kind of machine which made their Rainbows and if they had glass feeding in from different places to do a basically single color marble. But I don't know.
  10. This looks like a job for SuperRon.
  11. Just came up in my search for vintage cards. Was on pinterest. Someone was selling a repro on Zazzle and didn't say when it was from. It's here also, with more images -- https://www.houseofhawthornes.com/happy-4th-of-july/
  12. Searching on the net. Was hoping to find something with marbles and fireworks. Found this instead. Fun idea.
  13. Gotta be Akro on the left. Betting they light up bright under ultraviolet. Moss Agate on top. Lemonade on bottom. (A Lemonade would also be a Moss Agate, but has a special name.) Leaning heavily Vitro on top right. Considering Vitro on bottom right, but also considering Akro and Pelt. No "turkey head" per se.
  14. Supposedly our town's firework show is going to be aimed at a higher level this year, so that more people can see it from a distance. Our kitty doesn't seem to mind fireworks. But maybe she's too drugged out by the heat. I am too. LOL. It's hooooottttt. I guess I'll have my eye out in an hour or so when the show starts.
  15. Peltier Rainbos on the bottom 4. WV swirls on the blues. The very top picture seemed an easy WV swirl id ... but if these are the other side of the marbles in the top picture, then the addition of the green ribbons on the right side makes for an intriguing look. I really don't lean heavily toward Pelt on those but I see why someone would consider it.
  16. I agree that you have a popeye patch. But I'm just popping in on the way to some very hot work and my brain is already kinda melty. But in the middle, beside the popeye patch, that looks like a good Vitro. Maybe a "Biscuits and Red Eye Gravy"?
  17. Maybe Akro slag on #2. #5 is a Vitro Tri-Lite. #6 may be a Christensen Agate slag The last one appears to be a wild Vitro blackline All-Red. The 2nd to last being such a large swirl would likely be Alley.
  18. I'm 100% Peltier on that one.
  19. Could you backlight this one for us? (Is the base transparent? What shade?)
  20. Steph

    These too

Peltier Rainbos where the ribbons have a main color with a "tracer" of white. I believe the name was inspired by old phone wires. Here's a picture @Jill Marieposted of tracers. Not seeing the white in all, but I expect it was there. And you get the picture in general.
  21. Did you acquire it? Now you need a 10-person Chinese Checkers gameboard ...
