  1. Thanks for the Saturday morning wake-me up. Does the top one have a name? Fizzy Christmas Tree? (Just kidding about that name.)
  2. debunk Never thought about what the "bunk" was that the "de" was undoing. The "bunk" is bunkum, aka nonsense. "Debunk" is to refute nonsense.
  3. Just wondering how things are going for you, Ann.
  4. Yes, this is a marble, not a drawing. Pantheon, by Carl Fisher
  5. watching my cat in his light tent .....
  6. Neat. The black and white ... and is that lutz? ... is luscious.
  7. The auction got pulled. Someone had bid £400.01 on it.
  8. That's spiffy. Is "Mir bleibt die Spucke weg" an idiom?
  9. Giving the damaged ones love. That's very sweet.
  10. Always enjoy the story. I hope you call it progress. Glad to see you're still working on it.
  11. Steph

    Peltier?

    I'm gonna say WV Swirl.
  12. Well, if it's not a Vitro, then I'd tentatively put it 20 years before the Vitro cats. Love the peas ... and carrots. Love the pseudo-transparent gray.
  13. Well, Kingsman was VERY violent. But still good.
  14. Ha! Marble belly button! I like it. It's fitting. The glass does come out in a stream, and sometimes you will have creases at the ends of the stream. The ends ideally are pressed smoothly into the glass but sometimes things are too cool and they don't get smoothed over entirely. Not sure if that's what you're getting at. No "pontils" on these Jabos. Possibly what someone might call a "cutline" at the end of the glass stream.
  15. Josh might be able to ID the runs. @Nantucketdink? You around?
  16. Starting "Kingsman: The Secret Service". Didn't know what to expect but not as much violence as I have seen so far in the first ten minutes. Should be a good distraction.
  17. Way to go! Love it. Hopefully it's a big success. Bringing marbles back into our culture.
  18. I agree with Jabo. And that would mean no cane. From the contract run era, which started in 2008. I wouldn't be able to guess which run though.
