Time spent in wet environments, such as in an aquarium can give marbles a matte finish.

Could that be a hunk of debris inside. The structure isn't swirly so could be Akro. But since I don't see cutlines, I'm not inclined to say more. There were some modern Marble Kings on the small side which got called Akro Moonies. Some were pink, and those are the most recognizable to me. I can't remember if there was white among the modern Marble Kinggs.

Doesn't glow? Your pictures seem to be showing some fire. I think you have a nice early-ish Akro Moonie here.

Agree with master-like seams. So could be some combination of Master and Asian. I have no strong feelings. I just wanted to say something.

That is a vintage Japanese marble. Sometimes called Wales style. A big sibling to the single-color game marble which is called the Japanese Pincher.

Yes. Akros can also be single-seamer but I think those are exceptions, not as common as CAC single seamers.

I will say "good chance CAC"

Possibly Peltier on the red. I wouldn't jump to modern on the green but I don't even have a "possible" guess for it.

My first summer in our present house was 2017. And that's the first year I had a garden. Not a lot of space. And I always say I'll keep it small, but I keep making it bigger than planned. Started seeds last week, including tropical milkweed. (We don't tend to plant outside until Memorial Day in these parts.) So of course today my cat got into the seedlings in the mini greenhouse in the livingroom window.

From Chris I learned you need to take a flashlight. Especially if you're going to be visiting hotel rooms to do the early browsing/shopping.

I am fine with that being Marble King. I have been disappointed that I haven't been able to find 1" Marble King vaseline glass in my stores in the attic. I was sure I had quite a lot of it. Maybe I sold it. I still have many of the 5/8" version which Marble King made. Modern marbles which I bought from someone selling Marble King in bulk in around 2005.
