  1. It is the consensus that Alley didn't make patches. The patches found at the Alley site which excited so many of us are probably Akro. So that leaves Akro versus Master. When I was looking at your marbles I tried to see the seams. Not all the seams were front and center, but since I already gave you a bit of a hard time on your Wedding Cake question, I tried to get a good feeling for your mossy patches without asking for more pictures. And the feeling I got was that the seams fit the typical Akro pattern more than the typical Master pattern.
  2. From what I can see, I think Akro on all.

    MK ?

For sure patch and ribbon pattern. I'll go with MK on that basis.
  4. Not saying it isn't. Something about the clear-looking area over the sliver of color held me back, but mostly I don't like to give an ID based on just one side of a potentially uncommon marble. More people will be by to give opinions.
  5. I don't know what it is, but I can bump it for you.
  6. Two thumbs up. Makes total sense for the vane shape and colors.
  7. Do you mean Wedding Cake? My first thought is that it is not a Wedding Cake. Not familiar with Birthday Cake. A couple more views could help with the ID. Plus the size.
  8. Hi. Welcome. What size? I'll go with Alley Agate as the maker for now.
  9. I agree that it looks Vacor though I don't know the style name. Sometimes in the Vacor Galaxies you could see things like cats eyes under the splattered surface, deep within the dark glass. Was a mystery why they had stuff inside such a dark marble which was covered in splatter.
  10. I don't know. Vitro or Marble King. This pic shows why my thoughts immediately went to MK. Your vane structure isn't yelling vintage MK at me, but that's where I have my marbles with similar colors. And your vane shape is not yelling classic Vitro at me either. So ?
  11. Yes, that's the vintage version. You can tell because of the blue being across from the green.

    Vitro 🤔

??? The ones that looked like All-Reds but don't have red are Tiger Eyes. Not sure if all the big ones had names. Aren't some from generic "shooter" packaging? (But I am out of the loop on the names collectors have come up with.)

    Vacor ???

Closest style name I'm coming up with is Dragonfly. Maybe an unswirled one?
  14. I'm with Pelt Rainbo. And noting that big ones can get weird.
  15. Marble King Rainbow Red. 1960 give or take
  16. Peltier. I think a Multicolor Rainbo with underrepresented white. (edit: well there is white inside, in addition to the strands on the surface )
  17. pretty! Condition looks good overall too.
  18. I'm considering Japanese transitional and Christensen Agate Company. Sheer numbers would point to Japanese, but it would be cool if it turned out to be a CAC American Agate.
  19. *squints through blinding light* how about Akro?
  20. I think foreign. But I don't recognize who could have made it.
  21. I'm not seeing any as slags, fwiw. That looks like a distinct and wispy ribbon to me on the top right.
