  1. Do any of these solitaire sets every have copyright dates in/on them?
  2. The Breakfast Club actors who were in Psych: http://psych-os.tumblr.com/post/59820350309/shownspencer-the-breakfast-club-actors-in-psych Was just thinking about how all the kids except Emilio Estevez had been in Psych and googled to see if any of the adults had been, and sure enough ... the janitor was in two episodes -- the last two seasons. Played the mayor.
  3. I think the majority of the discussions I've seen about Pandas said the base should be opaque, or maybe it was "mostly opaque". I saw at least two discussions where a base that was slightly transparent/translucent was allowed into that club. So ... I think the answer is yes. Both could be Pandas of some sort.
  4. LOL ... that word could get severely mangled, couldn't it.
  5. grotesqueryn. - Grotesque action, speech, or manners; grotesque doings.
  6. Just got to the glowing marbles segment. Yes, that's a nice ending. Pretty.
  7. Love it. So fun. Kudos for partnering with Greg. Whoever brought you guys together, great idea.
  8. The thing I'm still getting used to is the "Unread Content" link. And how to get to all the Unread Content or to all the I Wanna Go Back to This Content to Answer Later material.
  9. Love! P.s. $29,614.50 http://www.usinflationcalculator.com/ P.p.s., basically a dictionary word, but for my games it means a word in the official English Tournament Word List. One of the other options for the version of the Scrabble available on Facebook is to use the Merriam Webster Dictionary. Another option is the Collins Official Scrabble Word List, which has a British flag beside it.
  10. Oooops, no more Caleb. On a brighter note. You, Me & the Apocalypse is SUCH a fun show.
  11. Some of the names which are Scrabble words: Laura Brent Joe Jill Jane Jimmy John Johnnie
  12. Interesting ... so that raises a question though .... does that definitely mean not machinemade? Can we say for sure that's from a very skilled craftsperson? or might we see more facets under high magnification even for those which were strictly machinemade? (stumbling over the word here since I know that a machine is involved in handfaceting also) keeperthread
  13. cool. That was one of the more exciting videos you showed. The commentary makes it even better. LOL ... that commentary really is a great addition.
  14. pianola: a piano equipped to be played automatically using a piano roll (I wanted it to be a Scrabble word and it turned out to be one. I like when that happens.)
  15. Love the red, white and blue. What Ann said about the Vitro hybrid cat's eyes. And yes, I think you have some oxblood in that other marble.
  16. Cool. One in a billion. Where did you find it?

    Few More

These are mostly modern marbles. Too many different ones for one thread. Best to stick with up to four for a single thread. Definitely only one group. Otherwise it's too hard to keep track of which ones people are talking about. Okay .... so anyway, I see some Jabo. (Modern marbles from Ohio) I see some Asian cat's eyes. At least one of those is modern. The black and white at the bottom of the third photo is Mexican or Asian. And again modern. There might be one vintage Vitro cat eye in the bunch -- bottom right one on the second photo.
