  1. Are they long? short? straight? v-shaped? Moonie-like marbles are notoriously difficult to ID across the internet.
  2. Agreed. I wouldn't call them Heroes either. I think the style name could be Royal.
  3. Hold it up to a light. Do you see fire inside? If so, then also an Akro Ace.
  4. It's not rare. It's still desirable. I can NEVER remember the name of it. Sara had some also. And Dani provided the name. And that wasn't very long ago. But I've already forgotten.
  5. Thank you for keeping this going. I'm loving it. I gotta get a picture of my very best (quite amazing actually) non-Akro cork. It's on my desk now waiting for it's close-up.
  6. And if that is oxblood riding on top of some of the black that is special.
  7. What do its cutlines look like? (The places on the marble which we would call pontils on your handmades.)
  8. A little confusing but mostly looks Akro.
  9. Then let's assume Bloodie on this one, Amber, for now.
  10. Somewhere I have an old photo of adults playing marbles on a table but I must be using the wrong terms to do my search. Couldn't find it.
  11. Yes, I love it. Congratulations. I peeked at this one while I was on sabbatical and I so wanted to say something but I had to get my work done.
  12. Yeah ... Pelt sounds good.
  13. What Al said. O_o
  14. Yes. Edit #1: Technically. Edit #2: Maybe. I think that modern collectors like to have the base me at least a little translucent. However, I think that Pelt could have sold that one in a Bloodies box. The main thing I wonder about is the shade of the red. That looks a little orangey to me in the photo and I'm a little fuzzy on what range of shades might have been in a Bloodies box. Moving this one to the main chat area also, since it's more of a name question. We have the Pelt part down. Now it's time for technicalities.
  15. I think too cloudy to be in the Sunsets. I think I would have it with my Bloodies. Hmmmm ..... Moving this one to the main chat area for the Pelt name people to maybe weigh in on. Maybe they'll say Bloodie Sunset is really a thing.
  16. First thought Champion. Second thought Alley.
  17. I'll say Peltier Rainbo. I wouldn't rule out any nice condition Pelt Rainbos being worth a dollar give or take to the right person. I don't know that this base would increase the value above that of an average Rainbo.
  18. "Transparent Swirl". I think most people leave it at that. It's in the West Virginia Swirl family, even though there is a small chance it was made in Missouri, not WV.

    Pelt? #80

Vitro. Sometimes called a "Transparent Whitie". In the Tiger Eye family.

    Cac ? #78

Don't see CAC. First thought Alley but the swirls are a little loose so that made me think maybe Champ. Hard to say sometimes with what are essentially single color marbles.
