Are the strands actually red? Or are they white strands in and/or under clear red. Strange no matter what -- just checking ....

Okay, you got me! I don't know what to think about those! But the second one doesn't look all that different from this glimpse of these popeyes. Wish I had the box these came in.

I noticed the striation. That's the kind of glass which makes me think Ace in general. You showing it with two colors of ribbons could actually help me get over my desire to call all marbles with that base glass Ace.

I like it. When I glanced at the pic without recalling which thread(s) I had opened, I thought some kind of Ade.

Yikes. The flash was NOT kind to the black and red ones. Will have to try to do justice to them on another day.

Sorting more Vitros. Separating out my large cat eyes. And noticed one I thought was a Vitro was significantly larger than all the rest. It's about an inch. (Or slightly larger depending how I measure.) 3 reddish vanes on the surface. Some blue running alongside each reddish vane. 1 blue vane inside. ... I started to hope I had a Berry Pink but the Berry Pink pix I looked up had brighter red ribbons. Thoughts?

Sorting Vitros. Have a Tiger Eye with a clear base which has orange around the equator and yellow on either end. A somewhat tannish yellow. Can't tell for sure if it's the same shade on either end. Guess I could take a photo and clip the yellow from one end to compare to the yellow on the other end. But no pix now. Now I'm wandering around looking for my labels. Lost 'em. Gotta label my boxes! So, anyway, this one stands out in my Tiger Eye box. Anyone else have yellow/orange/yellow on their Tiger Eyes?

Interesting. I'm not familiar with the term "tornado" for marbles. I'll get the popcorn and wait with you.
