  1. This one does not look very angel-y to me.
  2. This one looks Angel-y in spite of the base glass heading off toward white:
  3. Would love to see a photo of that box!
  4. Two examples of Tracers found in boxes where Rainbos were expected: http://marbleconnection.com/topic/8353-tracers-bloodies-rainbos-huh/ http://marbleconnection.com/topic/8160-berry-pink-marbles-help-needed/ In my mind: NLRs: late 1920's, early 1930s Angels: early 1930's to mid-1930's Bloody Mary's and Tracers: mid-1930's to 1940's.
  5. Here's a use for marbles I once read about in a newspaper. I've mentioned it before but now I have a source: The Jeweler's Circular, Volume 77, Issue 2, p. 47, January 29, 1919 https://books.google.com/books?id=kzUcAQAAMAAJ&pg=RA7-PA47 Wounded soldiers were trained to cut diamonds. Initially they practiced on marbles.
  6. Yeah, I'm going to guess mine is a little older. Thanks everyone!
  7. Is the yellow a separate color or a shmear from the red? Base is still white on that side, right? On the other side is that a blue ribbon?

    Id Help

My first and only guess is Marble King. What size?
  9. Here are Jill Marie's tracer examples from the Pelt pics thread:
  10. On the marble at the link, the white and yellow ribbons appear to be carefully paired up with each other. I've been hoping someone would remind me of the ribbon count on the angels since they're so hard to count in the photos. But first of all they are difficult to count in the photos, which is different from this more tracer-looking marble. And secondly, I think there are different numbers of yellow and colored ribbons on the angels. They aren't evenly matched like on the tracer-looking marble.
  11. Is that a single brown ribbon? That's the impression I'm getting. If that's one brown ribbon then I'd guess swirl, not Pelt.
  12. Yes, cullet would be the word. Any idea whose? Where did you come across it?
  13. Red, yellow and white in clear. Shooter size. 23/32" Does this one have a name? And is it Rainbo or NLR or tweener? (Obviously I am assuming Pelt. )
  14. I could be way off base here. There's a first time for everything.
