  1. http://www.antiquesnavigator.com/d-269648/tin-litho-marble-bingo-game-by-wolverine--original-box.html Probably a good call on the carpet balls. Would be sad to miss out on real antique ones just because they were in pristine condition, but good chance they were reproduction. The 4th edition of Baumann's book has a section on carpet balls including a chapter on reproductions.
  2. Four feet? Do you have a place to display it?
  3. Now that's cool. I had no idea about that function.
  4. Could this be a CAC? I know that answer will be no ... but I have to ask ... could it be a Bloody?
  5. Some neat ones there. You can post attachments. You can upload to the gallery and use the My Media button. You can post photobucket thumbnails by creating your own link and using th_ in front of the file name to get the smaller image to show up here. Code for just the thumbnail: [img=http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv79/arcone/th_DSC00085_zps732286e1.jpg]Thumbnail with link: [url=http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv79/arcone/DSC00085_zps732286e1.jpg][img=http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv79/arcone/th_DSC00085_zps732286e1.jpg][/url]Edit: I tried to use opening img tag and closing /img tag like you see at photobucket but the board automatically changed it to the img structure above. Either way works.
  6. I think the top one might be called a "Chevron". The bottom .... ???

The Seahawks brought out the field goal team and instead of kicking they threw a trick touchdown pass. That started the demise of the Packers. Then just before the two-minute warning when the Seahawks were kicking to the Packers and the Pack should have been able to coast to the win, the Seahawks did an onside kick and the Packers didn't get the ball. Guess they started coasting too early.

Well, no more stress for me. Now I can watch you guys slug it out. Should be a great game.
  10. Thanks for the warning. It got no bids, so that's good.
  11. That's a pretty little nest. What brought her to you in the beginning? Do you have a feeder?
  12. Plastic calipers are perfectly acceptable for most purposes. Better plastic than metal for measuring marbles. I've thought about getting one of those fancy calipers which measure to the thousandth of an inch, but you can do quite well with a basic plastic set.

And that's all I have to say about that!
  14. Pretty sure yes. (The only other choice would be Akro Ace if that patch is an odd cork.) Looks like a color match for this pic of a Realer box:
  15. Neat. What happens with this one? Do you blow the clays at the cherries?
  16. What's the principle of this game? Is it a decorative run? Is someone supposed to try to catch the marbles?
  17. Does the default guess of Akro apply to teeny slags as well as larger ones? In what numbers did the different slag companies create the smallest ones?
  18. Yeah, it's a cute story anyway. I just wondered what the moral was there at the end.
  19. I had completely forgotten Vitro had a "tournament" set. That symbol is rare, right?
  20. I do love tiny things. I also have a small Cracker Jack toy collection ... along with a couple of books on their history.
