The 4th edition of Baumann's book has a section on carpet balls including a chapter on reproductions.

The Seahawks brought out the field goal team and instead of kicking they threw a trick touchdown pass. That started the demise of the Packers. Then just before the two-minute warning when the Seahawks were kicking to the Packers and the Pack should have been able to coast to the win, the Seahawks did an onside kick and the Packers didn't get the ball. Guess they started coasting too early.

That's a pretty little nest. What brought her to you in the beginning? Do you have a feeder?

Plastic calipers are perfectly acceptable for most purposes. Better plastic than metal for measuring marbles. I've thought about getting one of those fancy calipers which measure to the thousandth of an inch, but you can do quite well with a basic plastic set.
