  1. Strength in numbers? Spreading the pressures around between more area or volume of tape ... sorta makes sense.
  2. Hi Cees. (No I don't know. Just saying hi.)
  3. But I love your Pepsis! A classic. .... not that I object to Akro.
  4. Hi James. Thanks for adding! Cool mib.
  5. So that sphere is the only perfect 10? Or there is no perfect 10? .... very interesting video. So do you think we'll get big news from the CGPM in a few days?
  6. Thanks! I forgot I had started a Jackson thread in here. Here are my Jacksons.
  7. Hi eggie. No comment on value from me. Just dropping in to give you a wave.

Neat. I almost wrote "Nurnberg" instead of "Nuremberg". But I wasn't sure about it. Ooops, I actually wrote Nuremburg, with an extra u, so I got it wrong either way. I'm far from the best geography student. But I'm interested.

Found a folder of some slides I scanned awhile back. From a soldier who was in Germany around 1952. My old slide scanner doesn't work with this computer so add a new scanner to the technology I need to figure out how to use. Soap Box Derby in Soldiers' Field in Nuremburg ... and Hitler's bombed out mountain retreat.
  11. Don't know what it is about those Japanese marbles but I love them. I do know what it is about that agate ... wow.
  12. That could be an Akro. Maybe? It looks like an ear. I don't know what an "Akro Ear" looks like, but I remember hearing about them in my early days of learning about slags. Edit: Nevermind. I wish I hadn't said that. It sounds silly. I really have no idea at all what feature would be the Akro Ear. None. Zero.
  13. And CAC is definitely not something I think of for that shade of purple. Not in opaque marbles.
  14. And thought about age range?
  15. Nice! And I like how that littler one looks like a Master in the 2nd photo -- had me fooled until I saw the loop at the base of the "V".
  16. That last box must have taken a long time to fill.
  17. These are MarbleDawg's. What do you think? Who made? When? More views to click:
