  1. The one-inch Jabos sometimes looked a LOT like parrots to me even though I was cognizant of the big difference in the base. There was just something parrot-y about the motion of the 1"-ers.
  2. Macon? Athens? Does that mean you're in Georgia?
  3. I had a list of the names of about 400 contemporary artists. I don't know about their signatures though.
  4. One segment of the Peltier Glass Co. mural in Ottawa, Illinois More scenes here: http://pickusottawail.com/murals/peltier-glass-factory/ ^^ click on the pics there for bigger views
  5. The Marble King of Britain http://www.marbleking.co.uk/storepage490188.aspx
  6. Some interesting color combos. That top left one is different (and pretty).
  7. I was thinking it was Alley and you were just coming around to agreeing. But I just looked up the Alley I thought it resembled and it doesn't look as much like that one as I thought. Not even close really. (Pretty sure I had Paul's Kurly Blush in mind. link)
  8. So, okay to call it a brain even with different colors? I'm asking on behalf of a friend and I want to get it right.
  9. So one more question. For it to be a brain, the ribbon color needs to be purple? Or would other colors also count?
  10. We've had a couple of good Ravenswood threads. Time for another. What have you got? keeperthread
  11. Those are beautiful. I think I'm falling in love with guineas.
  12. Very comely. No, really, those are interesting.
  13. Uncomely? Are you trying to hurt Craig's feeling?
  14. I have yet to even have touched a gutta percha. Can't remember ever seeing the black and green combo before.
  15. Oh yeah, don't you hate guineas and that other junk? (I'd be surprised to hear that purpley sulphides were made on purpose. ... Except that some were purposely aged.)
  16. The artist says the dots are marbles. They're probably gems, but that's okay, right? http://www.youronlineagents.com/craftymosaics/viewcustompage.php?id=8824
