  1. Thanks for that reminder, Craig. I remain fascinated. I have moved that thread to the archives, but I'll move it back out if someone bumps it for more conversation.
  2. Where do people get funky seed glass? Serious question. Is funky glass readily available? Would someone have to stir up a batch on their own?
  3. The more I see it, the more I think I may have seen such a one before. Am I creating a false memory? Or is a bell slowly ringing? lol
  4. Dani's looks totally Pelt to me. From the texture of the base I'd guess it was mid-to-late 30's instead of the earlier years I associate with the more easily recognizable PPP's.
  5. Cool "Bulgarian Curiosities" That's a great way to describe them.
  6. What interesting feet. What kind of birds are they?
  7. I have a marble which looks cobalt but has a lot of color inside which only shows up when backlit with a strong light. I've assumed it was Master. No idea why they wasted so much color inside such a dark marble.
  8. lol ... coz dogs get bored by humans tossing treats?
  9. I have another bag for my collection.
  10. Some more paintings by Jill Marie: http://jillmarie1018.weebly.com/oils.html
  11. I checked out some Crazy Eddie commercials too.
  12. As I've said elsewhere, Sarah's Sunshine and Bobby's Bricks are my favorites. I like the story behind the ruby glass ones though.
  13. I don't know Crazy Eddie, but I'm guessing he was like Linda Soundtrak who was an Oklahoma icon in the 80's and was touted as a pioneer in advertising for her annoying ads.
  14. Apparently vertebrae and other bones were sometimes called "knucklebones" and they may have been a precursor to our jacks. ... and in Mongolia, anklebones could be flicked like marbles for game play. Maybe "marbles" was used by whoever labeled the photo because he couldn't think of a better term.
