  1. Yesterday was awful... I was logged off by eBay during a "routine maintenance", and when I tried to log back in, I kept receiving an error saying my user ID did not exist. It was that way all day. Had several that I missed out on. Grrrrrr
  2. Awesome!!! They're like latticino's wearing a girdle!
  3. I know this seller has met a lot of controversy on here in the past... But has anyone seen the Bird Cage Marble he's got up for sale on eBay?? WOW
  4. Thanks everyone! Mibcapper, those are beauties!!!! Here are the two I have in question...... The one on the left I always assumed was vacor.... until I saw the pics above. The one on the right is a very light brown base, but is definitely not white base.
  5. Does anyone have a chocolate cow.... Of the peltier type that is! Not the dairy mammal! I think I've got one, but before I post a pic I wanna see some examples. Where they always NLR types or did they also come in the Miller Swirls?
  6. I would have too agree with Steph. All the pics that I could see up close looked like modern marbles you can buy at Walmart and toys r us.... An a lot of clearies... Which make good fish tank gravel.
  7. Oh My Lanta......... All the dust. I'll share if anyone needs some!
  8. Vaseline Glass, Victorian Art Glass Vases, Carnival Glass, Foreign Coins, antique Telephones, Unusual depression glass pieces, and Depression era Sunkist reamers....
  9. So based on what I've read, this would be a CAC slag, right??
  10. Thanks! Any chance I have to show it off I'll take it!
  11. Please excuse the rust stains on the yellow one.....
  12. Judging by the condition I'd say 2011....... LOL just kidding just kidding...... But seriously WOW! I'm sure it's 100+ years, since you're asking. Very nice.
  13. Thank you everyone. That helps A LOT! Winnie! Those are FANTASTIC! What great photos for me to use as a reference! Now..... what about the difference in a CAC striped transparent and a CAC slag? They look the same to me
  14. I bought one of these several months back, and never thought I'd see another... Last time I posted a few pictures for id help on the first, zaboo told me she believed it to be of the akro blueberryade swirl family... It's not really and "ade" though, as the base glass doesn't glow... but it does have some of the green glow within the blue striping. ANYWAYS, I was about to give up on finding another, when low and behold, the guy I bought the first one from had another... BUT THIS ONE has a very nice corking action as where the first ( can be seen in my gallery posts) does not. Anyways, since it's not really a blueberryade, then what is it? Does anyone else have any similar? Is it a ringer? I'll shut up now, and read the replies.
  15. So, like a gap where the stripes meet up at the seams?
  16. So I've been wondering, how does one differentiate between a CAC slag and a German striped transparent?? Or even a CAC striped transparent?
  17. Plenty of reasons for that big smile!
  18. I have some that are blue, green, yellow, and purple.
  19. What you see in the picture is exactly how the marble looks. It's not backlit, but does have two lights focused on it for the photo. However, it does look like two shades of red in hand. But when backlit one can see that it is just the darkening of the transparent red from the white striping on the outer surface. But, like I said, not trying to con anyone here, and whoever buys it will not be disappointed, it's colors are true in the photos. If for some reason they don't like it, I always accept returns, no questions asked. Thanks everyone for the input. It's a real pretty marble!
