  1. Flint can be many colors, it's mainly formed in limestone but varies in color and hardness and characteristics by region. It can be brown, red, tan, white, grey, yellow, orange, marbled variety of colors etc... Flint is basically hard chert, a form or quartz, from a scientific point of view.
  2. A few people dig once in a while but hardly anyone knows about it anymore and fewer people want to go to the trouble anymore.
  3. Acres, maybe 100 acres of it. The city dump from when my town was a resort town in the 1800s until around the 1940s. We had a population back then of 20,000 and had electric lights before NYC. Today it's a nice bigger small town. You can dig 10 feet down and still be in bottles.
  4. Pics from the area. It would take lifetimes to get them all out of this place.
  5. I get Heaton vibes. Here's one of mine, close colors.
  6. Not akro. Chance of JABO or other modern maker IMO.
  7. The easter eggs seem to mostly have a robin egg blue base.
  8. 😁 he was so smart, inquisitive as you see in the photo, and loving. He was so big (127 lbs) and had an enlarged heart and passed early because of it. We have another doberman now but I have no pics of him looking at the camera, so I used this one of Loki. What a terrific dog he was.
  9. Also interesting that Master bought out the luncheon sets they had left in stock and the molds to make more. I wonder if they ever made any?
  10. Agreed, St. Mary's Alley. A lot more grey on this than usual, I like it.

Tough one. I agree, maybe JABO.
  14. Yeah that blue on grey I thought was that standard koko grey base but looking again today, I don't think it is. Some will never be known for sure.
  15. Unless they have dug provenance, I would say Pelt for the first and koko for the second.
