A tad over 2 1/4" faceted at one end and remnants of a pigtail nearly melted to oblivion on the other, not pristine, pocket ware & fleas but no hits or missing glass, chunky mica flakes distributed equally around the surface. I could have a light buff to give it a nice smooth surface but why ruin a great mib.

"Hello Sherry, & Welcome to Marble Connection" Don't get discouraged, I had thousands of low to no value marbles when I started out. No doubt we all did, you have to start somewhere & this is a great place to do it. Lots of marble & marble related knowledge here & people more than willing to help ya out. There is a search bar at the top left if you have a specific query you'd like to investigate or just post your questions in whichever forum applies. Someone will be more than happy to help ya out Again "Welcome" Chad G.

Thanks for posting the pix Ron, good friends & good times !!

All the dumps around here are strictly off limits, about the only place left to go that isn't gated off is the beach "0" mibs there, maybe an arrowhead if the dredge hasn't buried it in 40 feet of sand ??

The ones signed w/ initials are more than likely U.S. torch work (their are hundreds if not a few thousand artists) of artists & the others foreign (maybe) at least you have a year and some initials to go on now, I've found I.D.'s on artists marbles like this completely by accident while looking at other mibs, I seen similar workmanship looked and lo and behold the same initials, not saying you'll ever find the makers, I still have several as yet unidentified signed glass. I like, I keep, doesn't matter to me weather it's signed or not, that's just "my personal" point of view as a collector.

I remember posting these and the subsequent discussion with Hansel "Thanks for the help Steph"

Your best marble display stand ideas
Chad G. replied to Chris Parson's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I had a big "Jelly Belly" broke the glass trying to fill it with shooter, being a bit over zealous cost me. Nice display William (popcorn flavor's my favorite) -
I thought it was an Alley Green Giant in the jar when I bought it. After dumping the & some intense scrutiny "No av" ah well at 7/8ths still a very nice alley and probably harder to find than the ones with av who knows, I'm happy regardless "Thank you Ron & Chuck G. for the I.D. confirmation" Just what I wanted to hear this time, USA Baby !!

At least some look like contemporary torch marbles to me. Could be Asian or U.S. made, not sure, do you have a size for them Joseph ?? and are there any initials etched (written) in either end of them ??

Here's the best Nova I have, no fractures or pocket ware and the air bubble didn't make it to the surface so it made wet mint, I got lucky on this one !! Even has a bit of purple in it though I think it's the glass overlapping, a hair over 7/8ths

Score !!

Another great Peltier Tuesday, great mibs Ric, I really like the Salmon color too.

Looks Good. most of mine are a salmon to off white like that, over half of them are fractured Yes, unfortunately all to common on these, the ribbon glass was incompatible with the base causing the fractures, if you could get a shot of the seams it will help tell the tale ??

Though in patch style it looks like a foreign "stripey" that's out of whack ?? Foreign to me none the less !! Sorry wish I knew more !! I'm ed.

It looks Pelt to me, not positive on the name either, though I have seen this color scheme before, maybe Spider Dragón ?? either way a bifurcated mib ?? At least those are the colors being exhibited !! Pelt used to have a mib called a watermelon (I have a pic), but I guess we'll just leave that one for another day to avoid any further confusion. ( as if) MK has bifurcate types to, not sure on the names though.
