  1. Hallmark or no, that's a heck of a piece, the amber is just icing on the cake !! Nice one man.
  2. Yeah man like this one, any hallmarks on the bottom of the stem William ??
  3. Those steam powered tractors are killer man, I love em !! They really earned their oats in them days !!
  4. "You're welcome" Ron S. (wvrons) will probably pop in later and narrow it down a bit more for ya ??
  5. Hear !! Hear !! To all our fallen Brothers & Sisters !!
  6. I agree w/ Alox or maybe Alley, but like William said some form of West Virginia swirl
  7. Yes my hometown of Rainier is only 6 miles away across the state line (Columbia river) also small 2300 people now and 1800 0ver 50 years ago so hasn't changed much, the local creek (fox creek) also floods our town every couple years. With Longview & a couple other towns in the close vicinity we have a 3 day draw of over 50,000 people all together, fireworks night is the biggest w/ right around 15 to 18,000. kinda ridiculous, it takes two hours to get your car out of town afterwards because of all the cars. A great time anyway, something I remember as a kid the fresh beer sausages made from Elk meat cooking on an open grill, Mmm, Mm !! not made from Elk meat anymore but still Deeeliciouse !!
  8. RAINIER DAYS IN THE PARK, ALONG THE MIGHTY COLUMBIA RIVER derp !! What started out in the early 1900's as a beer run race from tavern to tavern drinking a pitcher of beer at each stop has evolved into a family oriented festival, along with a fair rides and fireworks launched off a barge in the middle of the river there are vendors galore, food and of course a beer garden and live music, logging show w/ pole climbing and "hot saw" competition. All I could find I have left from the old "Rainier Daze" when I was a kid was this button, I'll post a link showing this years festivities. Original Rainier "Daze" button from 1962 Now renamed "Rainier Days in the Park" and no longer a race to get plastered. LINK : https://www.rainierdaysinthepark.com/ Facebook, fireworks show etc.. : https://www.facebook.com/RainierDaysinThepark/ LINK : https://www.myfamilyguide.com/events/united-states/oregon/rainier/festivals/rainier-days-in-the-park-city-of-rainier/ City LINK : https://www.cityofrainier.com/ The Columbia river where the fireworks are launched from the barge is just out of sight along the bottom of this pic.
  9. A obscure Akro w/ a little tracer line of oxblood running down one side and very fine scattered silver & black av. probably a relative of the Royal considering the structure and presence of inferior black av. , one of my favorites though !!
  10. I don't think this is a repop but it might be ?? Unmarked as well !!
  11. I have a two handled one, also unmarked, hard enough to find these w/o chips let alone the one handled. I've found 2 but one had half the handle missing and the other had a handle broke into multiple pieces, can't remember but I believe a chunk was still missing, someone really "handled" these with kid gloves, very Nice !!

Yeah ! I like em all, beauties !!
  13. A lucky score on some Akroware I had just the other day
  14. Peltier Golden Rebel w/ av. in the black ribbons, the yellow base and the red ribbons as well. Silver and blue av. in the black ribbons, a touch very fine black & silver in the red ribbons & thick Green av. in the yellow. Got this one for $75.oo, no loupe or glasses on when I bought it, my jaw hit the ground when I got home and louped it, best av coverage in a Golden reb I've ever seen. One of my favorites for sure. But yes, my opinion may be a bit one sided, I am admittedly a "Pelt Head" Peltier Blue Lagoon, super fine silver av. over the entire marble, thicker along the dark blue swirls. One I had been searching for relentlessly, ended up walking right through my front door, one as made dimple from a collapsed gas bubble visible in the 3rd pic. "that's it" otherwise clean, the shimmers and sparkles you see are almost all av. w/ a few internal air bubbles, the biggest of which is in the first pic. I was a very happy camper !! Bah !! They're "all my favorites"
  15. Agreed, sometimes less is more !! Don't know why they didn't make more coreless ?? They made some killers !!
  16. Hang in there Dennis !! At least you had the right manufacturers
  17. 1. Peltier Rainbo 2. Marble King Bumble bee 3. Peltier Rainbo
  18. A Trip to the Candy Store !! I was in town shortly after buying a handful of Handmades very similar to these, the woman beside me glimpsed them & said "No thanks, I don't eat candy" I looked at my marbles and realized that's what they looked like a "Handful of Christmas candy" Suweeet !!
  19. I'll go slag as well w/ Akro for the manufacturer
