Killer mib Bill ............. ........... .........
-
I think there is a corkscrew w/ that color combo ?? I haven't seen it but I was looking at the transparent blue and noticed it didn't go all the way to the other pole, that's why I suggested Alley. To qualify as a cork it has to go from pole to pole w/ at least some rotation, if no rotation it's a patch but both must go from on e pole to another. I posted a pic of both ends to illustrate what I'm talking about, note the ends are nearly next to one another at the point of termination !! Corkscrews can meander quite a bit but will always end up at the other pole to qualify as one.

Very Happy !! got some more coffin boxes today from Phil. Haven't filled them yet but as usual the workmanship is superior. The two lighter colored ones are Zebra wood and the dark one in Wenge wood, both from Brazil I think. They each hold mibs 5 mibs from pee wee to one inch. Magnetically locked so no more Oops !!

I agree w/ you, Alley on 1 & 2 and more than likely 3 also

I'm gonna go out on a limb & say Alley ?? Not sure though as you ?? Just going by te striations and color, the seam is a bit confusing ?? I do see a "butcrack" type fold in the bottom of # 1 & the same fold appears on the (R) side of # 4, size has me leaning away from Jabo ??

Ah yes !! less is more !! Nice one !!

I've been using Joes site for years, a great loss to the marble community but he left a lasting legacy that will be used well into the future. I agree fully, multiple views are good but "nothing" like in hand.

Lots of gold lutz Bruce, nice mib !!

Surprise !!!

"Happy Thüringen Thursday" Tri level solid core w/ thick ribbons of green av, & some flecks of blue av in the green ribbons as well. Didn't even notice until I had it under very bright light, seen a few sparkles, grabbed my loupe, "surprise". I thought it to be trapped air bubbles for the longest time.

1 is a slag, 2 is kinda weird lookin but "I" believe them both to be slags.

I have some idea of what I've posted but after a couple thousand I fear I'm beginning to get lost !!

Not sure if I posted these here or not ?? I know I did somewhere but !! Ah well, here goes. A few ashtrays made in Murano Italy, loaded w heavy chunky gold lutz and some killer patterns, got em all at yard sales except on at a thrift store. Spendy little buggers new I guess, anyway I really like em & just wanted to share them with ya. All are marked and are embossed w/ ITALY on the bottom. There are knock offs out there just like everything else !!
