#1 & #3 have the indicative oily sheen of a Vacor, the second is etched or (acid washed) glass & also a Vacor the name evades me. # 4 looks Jabo from what I can see of it. Wait on some others to post, maybe a different opinion or a correction on the Jabo and a specific name of manufacturer for the W.Va. swirl !! 1. "Vacor" (Mega) Cats eye 2. Vacor" (Mega) Blueberry freeze or something similar (looks Blueish green on my monitor ??) 3. "Vacor" (Mega) Spaghetti ?? 4. looks like "Jabo" ?? 5. West Virginia swirl 6. "Vacor" (Mega) I believe called a "Galaxy" Many of the newer Vacor have that oily, pearlescent sheen to them, often along with an orange peel textured surface. Not real sure on the Jabo William, All newer mibs except # 5, the W.Va. swirl.

Bottom (R) corner in first pic & the marble in the third pic are the same one and it has "heavy Aventurine" in it, all those little sparkles aren't light reflections. The pock marks shown in the second pic appear to be small hits & fleas on that particular marble. Yours appear to me to be "Jabo " As far as I know "Leightons" were all hand ground or melted pontil transitional's, not machine made as those pictured above are?? MORE

The middle 2 look like Japanese pincher marbles, probably around 9/16ths, and as far as the other 2 I can't tell from the pic ?? to dark and vague !!

Hang on I think I have some wooden marbles $$$$ 🤑

More than full price here, double or more, last time I bought plywood it was 3/4" for the deck of my 18.5' fishin boat & it was 30.00 a sheet, I thought it was gold 20 years ago, the stuff they bought the other day was a 1/4" cheap knot filled blow sheet & like I said 59.00 "Highway robbery" I thought 15 -17 bucks a sheet was unreal, I used to work a Multnomah plywood and got it for free 40 years ago, man times have really changed. On the "average" $100,000.00 more to build a hose now than 16 months ago, that's what I said a hundred grand and no I'm not trippin, you heard Ron, 80% more, think about it ???????????????????????? "NUTS" Forget cattle rustlin, I'm goin for them loads of studs or sheet lumber....... .......They'll never recognize me !!! I need a crew, I got plenty of spare bags !! (maybe) Oop !! I forgot they're made of paper too ???

I live right here in timber city U.S.A.. WA. state. Everyone and their dog is logging everything they have. Fir is at an all time high, especially export logs. I drove up the hill where I lived as a kid in Rainier yesterday Pop. 1800. I lived 10 miles out of town, & it looks like a hurricane hit it, everything is flattened, cut down or being cut down, not so much the alder as most of it goes into pulp for PNW paper prods. My brother in law works at Boise cascade making toilet paper as a machine operator, last year they couldn't keep up with all three machines running full tilt, usually there's just one machine maybe 2 running. I worked at 3 jippo mills myself as a kid until I got my welding certs and started building tugboats. There are 7 mills within 10 miles of me, including the worlds largest export log dock 3 miles away right here in Longview on the Columbia river. The longshoremen fill 2 big ships a day. Mostly going you know where (China) they're stockpiling & sinking the logs in ponds that keep underwater for years just like the day they were cut. I'll drive up to Home Depot or Lowes tomorrow & take some pics of the empty lumber racks & the price tags, I couldn't believe it " absolutely Incredible" Timber prices probably will go up very shortly for you Ron, I live right on the hub, it all centers around exporting & the stagnation the U.S. housing mkt. went through during the C19 last year when everything was shut down, the reserves will be gone quick & then you'll be playing catchup like is going on here. Get the family ready Ron, you may be a busy man shortly ??

Guess I better post 1 or 2 or..........the big ones are 7/8ths & the little red one is 19/32nds. Sorry for the collage effect !! Maybe one or 2 more Bubble filled caged Asian probably Japanese Vitro Asian, probably Japanese Ok, I'm done (maybe!!)

I think they have nails on sale at Coast to Coast, the lumber may have to wait, my buddy wet to buy 1 (one) 8 ft. sheet of plywood the other day $59.00 & it was a blow, full of knots. Fir has tripled if not quadrupled in price in the last few months & I live 4 miles from the largest log export dock in the world here in Longview Washington. You may be building your new mib shed out of old barn boards so...... ....and.........and...........and then.......

Thanks Ron you saved me taking pics of flats, Razzle Dazzle still a fav..... Heaton made some killers that's for sure, very happy I got at least a slice of the pie...... Thanks again all for the hard work, sharing & generosity, true marble Brothers & Sisters......

A Good friend made 2 signs for every manufacturer, Pelt, MK, Cairo, Alox, Akro, Alley etc...etc..., got something started now I need more.

A small curio I filled with Heaton. One shelf of misshapen double ingots', baseballs, hats, pancakes, barbells, pee - wee's, nearly every oddball shape you could name. The other just some outstanding examples and the third shelf I believe are all named. Anyway all from the last dig. Had to put em somewhere, might as well display em, the containers are all Akroware, I think a couple Houze a few salts & some Imperial end of days glass, found a use for those too. Better than collecting dust in a cupboard or on a shelf somewhere. I try to display everything I have, I emphasize the word try very emphatically. Please excuse the blur, this curio is mounted on my wall about 5 feet up, kinda hard to take pics with a 12" tripod at that height.................................. Chad G.

The two top seam pics look Akro but the end pic just below them looks MK ?? " I'm goin Akro "

Well Stephen, that's more than a few with exactly the same color scheme and opaque & transparent base, so definitely not one offs, they are a unique and beautiful pelt. for sure. "Thanks for the pic's Stephen !!

I'm, stuck as well Ron, A very dense slag, not much light or transparent red only on the other side a very small patch near the backwards 9, I thought Cerise for the longest time because of the visible feathering but now I believe Akro so either way it's with my slags and not with any particular bunch. Hand gathers are a hard nut to crack for me, only one I'm sure it's not is MFC because of the color.

Only one I have, & I had at least a few hundred already here besides the dug ones. Like I said even Ron was wondering why so many new marbles came out of this dig, by new I mean ones nobody had ever seen before, either production or from any of the prior digs. !!
-
Yes I've talked with him about them there was quite an extensive conversation about them on AAM and a few others, he said one in every three 5 gallon buckets average, if you look in between the two like that I have there is also a green transparent based one with the same orange over white he mentioned he'd never seen before, I lucked out on the two different shipments of dugs I got. Nearly 90% of all the named & some real oddballs that haven't turned up anywhere else, so they're not going anywhere soon. No more digging there , gone, zero, underground or pavement, that's it. I jumped on it and was lucky enough to be one of 3 or 4 that got some other than the diggers, I found quite a few Heaton in the mibs I already had, almost all in the wrong places, now all straightened out (I hope) Many new Heatons came out of this last dig not previously seen before, I'm grateful to the people who sold me some, otherwise I would have never even got close to one !! I saved them all but the ones that fell apart in my hands, which was very few, some quality glass I suspect.

I know it looks like the marble is in motion or I moved but I guarantee ya the camera was on a tripod with a remote, no way any movement could occur unless we had an earthquake, But since I've seen it dozens of times one reason I grabbed it out of a couple hundred is the unique look it has. Kinda like a tie die shirt !! Wish they all could look this way but, such is life. I should have taken one more of the other side, but just that little bit of tail in the third pic was enough to get the proper I.D.

Gotta root for someone !! Enjoyed the race today as always. Thanks for all the hard work !!

How did this 😙 get into my emojis, not in the regular bunch but only on the used bar, I suppose it will disappear when I reboot but just wondering where it came from, here it is next to a regular sized one or three 😙 guess I'll call it half-pint until it disappears ??
