  1. Excellent, love Veiligglas, some of the best stacked flame patters I have ever seen, I wish they were more prevalent over here. I gave mine to a friend who collects them in Italy. Yes the tags would be a plus but still in the bag, a great find I was wondering, do you know which one of these bags is harder to come by ?? older, newer ??
  2. Mmm... Mmm... Master....................Yeah Buddy !!! Them Vitro's aint bad either. Nice mibs & boxes Bill The Roses are smelling especially sweeet today !!!
  3. Good job Ric, every one a killer, & the box as well
  4. Proper "Joseph coat" no such thing as a Jacob coat. Yours all appear to be onionskins from here, onionskins have an underlying opaque coat of usually white with colors either stretched or speckles on top of this, with no visible window into the interior except maybe at the poles, may contain lutz or mica. "Josephs coats" are transparent based glass with opaque colored colored canes added to on the outside with a clear visible window to the interior. I will give some pictures of each, joseph coats may contain aventurine also. Both are covered in or (cased) by a coat of usually transparent or (clear) glass on the outside. As in all marbles there are variants (marbles that appear to be both) these are just some examples of each for you to look at. Ric also posted an excellent link, hopefully this gives you a better understanding of a few handmades & helps you on your marble journey. Lots more here just enter "Joseph coat" or "Onion skin" into the search bar, have fun !!! JOSEPH COAT JOSEPH COATS ALL JOSEPH COATS ONIONSKIN w/ LUTZ ONIONSKINS ONIONSKINS with the one on the far left being a shrunken onionskin ONIONSKIN W/ MICA JOSEPHS COAT W/ AVENTURINE
  5. 'You're welcome" yes 5/8ths (16mm) most common. The big shooters are 63/64ths (25mm) nearly one inch. Sizes are directly under the pictures, here's the link to a conversion table showing "fractions" to "decimals" to "mm" I use all the time & have it tabbed to my favorites, so many use the metric system now I had to. LINK : https://www.reade.com/reade-resources/reference-educational/reade-reference-chart-chemical-conversion/40-fractions-to-decimals-to-inches-to-mm-millimeters-conversion-chart
  6. Definitely not a pistachio then, just a swirl. Pistachios also are uv reactive. Looked black on my monitor plus early & I'm not wearing my glasses, sorry bout that one.
  7. Understood !! as for the dark green I'm pretty sure it's just a regular clay, lots of damage, beningtons are low value also unless you get a rare color like pink etc......
  8. If my monitor is correct your base glass is black ?? If yes I think you have a "Vacor Samurai" . "Werewolf" has a brown base instead of black
  9. Yes, they all appear to be Master to me !!
  10. Not glow in the dark, the paint is just uv. reactive. Glow in the dark is after the light is extinguished the object continues to glow. Common clays though probably old hardly any value except maybe sentimental. I always use a blacklight or tube instead of a uv. bulb or flashlight it seems to work a bit better ??
  11. Bruce is right "no oxblood " and all west Virginia swirls. maybe 6 or 7 alleys, second group second from the left( green & black) looks to be an Alley pistachio, not sure from just one view., The first & largest one resembles an Alley metalic I have but impossible to tell from your pics. The yellow base w/ red are also Alley and are desirable but not high dollar. The second group is by far the best of the two. Some closer clear shots & multiple views of each marble would help immensely.
  12. Already there, thanks for the info though !! I often don't go to my YouTube, to busy with other stuff, so thanx again for taking the time to post here !!
  13. A couple 3 very nice J coats in your first row, Ah what am I saying I like em all !! Handmades are great, I love em, even if the market is slowly going the other way. I have had a definite affinity for them since the early 90's Here are a few pix of a few of mine. Some of the agates may be machine made, I believe they're about half & half in this pic. Glad to see someone else taking an interest in one of my first Mojo. I still collect & love em. Joseph Coats are my favorites.(pic # 14) By the way a "Great" idea on the cats

    Jabos?

Good again, I see Jabo as well.
  15. I'm good with that Bruce !!
  16. Great race guys "Again" thanks for posting. I watch it on YouTube so I can click on the like, but need to be made aware of new races, I have so many subscriptions on my YouTube I often miss things
  17. Wish I had the room I would take it in a second, never seen anything like it Brad !!
  18. "Welcome to Marble Connection" "No pontils yours are all machine made, the first to look like maybe cat eyes "from this one view " The third looks Asian, maybe an Imperial. "Please" give measurements in fractions if you can. Some more views would be a great help in the I.D. process "Thank You"
  19. Roger that, Peltier Rainbo
  20. A few more Dave made & sent me, these he calls calligraphy flames
  21. These "Meg" teeth are really something alright !! I can see why you like them, the other closeup pix are great.
  22. I'll say Akro on the first & third, stumped on the second.
  23. There not "Fake" Mojo, just not easily identifiable because of rarely being seen here in the U.S. Some are identifiable yes, others closely resemble known manufacturers but just something a bit off. Personally I wouldn't toss anything. Myself, I will not give an I.D. on something that I have no idea on, just state what I know & what it resembles. I want to help as I'm sure "everyone" else does on any marble forum, some of the main driving forces behind all these marble forums is the sharing of knowledge and helping the new collector, things that help us all in the end. In a word "Everchanging" This hobby morphs continually as provenance & new knowledge is brought foreword. I would love to know more about a number of the marbles you have in question myself, and believe that given a little time their identification will become known. Hang in there, we're with you, the great majority is here to help & learn. A few words of encouragement for you as we all love this hobby, it has become a large and very enjoyable part of my life & the lives of many here
  24. it's supposed to be stacking not "Stack King"
