Waiting for more new's on vacor, I know it wasn't the only marble maker in Mexico. Only stand's to reason w/ that much money being made on marble's there had to be more than one manufacturer. million's and million's and million's of marble's and only one producer ??? Just trying to be company specific to vacor as far as info. I read the thread's on all about marbles you and other's have posted Al Oregon, and found the new information refreshing. I learn something new every day, still several opinion's and many bit's of evidence. I enjoy learning and sharing what I've learned. Regards, Chad G.

Just looking through some old pic's and stumbled across it. I always have problem's with remembering the color's of certain boxes, maybe I'm color blind ??? For some reason I had this box of milkies, not the marble's just the box confused w/ the cerise agate's box. ( I must be blind or my mind is goin " ) probably a little of each.
-
I left a pic of a box of cerise agate's for ya on page 3 bill, thought you might like to see em !!! Chad G.
-
These pic's will give you a little better look see at some more cerise agate's Bill. The white box I was thinkin of was a gropper box just not the right box, enjoy man !!!

Found some pic's of early vacor boxes. Marketed as vacor swirl's and sold on Mibbage.com site a few years back. I messaged Iowamarble ( chad ) to see if him or Charles had any further info on this subject. Seen one other pic of similar box, same company on all about marble's, evidently a different company ???

I posted this hoping to see someone w/some older boxes or bag's, I think the oldest box of Vacor I seen sold was on Mibbage's site a few year's back before they quit selling mib's. Maybe Iowamarble knows what I'm talking about. I will try to message Chad. " Wait I found it "

This is from Marble Alan's archive's. They started w/ clay's in 1930, by 1934 where producing glass marble's, little is known about their early history, they started producing cats eye marble's in 1944 before the Japanese import's, they weren't well known by marble collector's till the late 1980's, to 1990's , eventually becoming the world's largest marble producer making over 12,000,000 marble's per day. Look's like we both stand corrected according to Alan. The history is a little clouded, hopefully this thread will produce some new information ??

This is Phil with me out in the estuary fishing for sturgeon about 10 yrs. ago before they closed it. "The day we caught all the big over size fish" Doesn't Phil look enthusiastic ??? You can sure tell who's taking the picture's now.

Man I sure wish I knew how to down load these picture's, this is aggravating. Next time Craig come's over to down load them I'm gonna make sure he stay's long enough to show me how to do it. I have over another 100 pic's already and counting. Grrr &%#%&)(&^%$. Double time " Hut "

That's exactly how I found that red monochrome alley flame. digging through pile's of gaming marble's and stuff other people didn't want. Also found several solid green av. master's 2 or 3 gumball's and a few solid oxblood marbles, Akro I believe!! Well worth the hour's of eye strain and the sore back, to me at least. Probably blew right by a canary or 2. guess I'll have to go to the landfill start diggin and take another look Let' see now I wonder where they buried those ??? I'll take some pic's of the Master's, gumball's and the Akro for the next down load. Again please be patient w/ me while I learn how to transfer these pic's w/o losing them. Thank You, Chad G.

-
Are those St. Mary's cross through's ?? not really a cat fan as you can tell by some of my comment;s, just curious !!

To hot outside for any pic's from me today, by the time the sun's just right I might as well bring some egg's to fry with me.
