I have some more father son pic's taken, had to wait for the sun to be in the right place, I jumped the gun a little, some shadowing but still look OK. Took what turned out to be some great machine made pee-wee shot's to.

That make's 5 mib's that are on my hit list, never see them like your's anymore, it's been long enough now that most collectors are holding onto what they have like a barnacle stuck to a ship, if you don't you may never see it again, by the way Chuck "verrry nice mib's" thank's for sharing. Question !! The green one on the bottom row second from the (L) is that a lantern or a goblin or somewhere in between as a few other's are?? I had a line on a galaxy 19/32 which I believe 90 percent of them are, unfortunately they wanted between a little to much for it. Wet mint yes but I just can't swing over a couple grand for one. A couple more then I'll try the gang approach again !! Chad G.

I have a few of these angel fish around and some moon and star's I got from David S. at the Seattle show a few year's back, this particular mib was in a jar at a yard sale of " yes " cat eyes clear at the bottom, "somebody made a mistake". Won't say what i paid but it was about 1/6th of what's it's worth. I don't think David put's lutz in the stripe in these anymore unless you ask for it, anyway gonna hold onto this one. " another bad pic of a wet marble, sorry bout that"

You're not the only one, I'll stick to pic's, what if you dropped it, like on concrete or something, "SHWOOP'S"

I lived at Lakeside Great lake's naval base in 78 and 79 when i was in the navy going to engineering school. 90 to 100 " below zero wind chill " just a smidge on the cool side " I moved "

Seasonably hot here, around 90 to 100, in other word's with the humidity, unbearable. I did't move to the Pacific Northwest for sun and fun, I enjoy 70 t 80 at the highest. Must take the good with the bad, pretty soon everyone will be complaining about the cold.

This last one is obviously a paper weight but because of the exceptionally high price it brought at auction I thought I'd list it anyway.

I think these all come in @ near 1 3/4th's, nice clean mib's no chipping or pocket ware, not the rarest or biggest but x tra clean, all but one, the lobed onionskin are faceted on one end and have a melted pigtail on the other. It only has 4 lobes but lobed none the less. I was told by David Salazar it's a first of cane marble, I'll show the weird looking end a little later. ( sorry about the wait )

Just wanted to thank you all, and tell you how grateful I am to be able to share my joy and love for marble's and marble collecting with a bunch of like minded people. We need not agree on everything, but one thing I'm sure we all can agree on is the love for and pursuit of this hobby.

The size differential is unreal, love the pic, thank's much Scott. Wish I had some nice veiligglas to show, only 2 lonesome, substandard specimens. I will post the best of the two sometime soon. Regards, Chad G.

My pic's as you can tell were taken in the sun this time, love veiligglas Steph but can't seem to get my hand's on anything except the simplest of wire pulls, they made some of the most beautiful flame and multi color design's I have ever seen on a marble, would love to see the your big veiligglas and mini me pic's to add to my veiligglas pic folder. Thank's for the comment's, most of these mib's took a while to obtain in the shape they are, when I first started collecting one of my mentor's said if your gonna collect, condition, condition, condition, and he was quite adamant about it.

Just the one's taken in the sunlight, I will have to wait for those new bulb's until next payday, in other word's many trip's in and out the door with my marble's and camera while the sun lasts before winter set's in. Oh and thank you Steph, many deletion's and retake's involved in taking these photo's. End's up the hand rail on my deck is the best spot but only from 12:00 noon till 3:30 or 4:00, guess I better stay on top of it. I do need to learn how to download the picture's from my camera chip to my P.C. instead of relying on my buddy though.

I realize I've already posted some of these but I'm trying the gang mentality approach. I know these aren't on a marble display dome, it's a thimble display dome I added some rubber o ring's and saved myself a few buck's.

Abut 4 of them are on my most wanted list Chuck, some very nice pelt's, thank's for sharing. Regards, Chad G.

Thank's Bill, from the view of the other photo you posted I have a Christensen that could almost be it's doppelganger, But the new photo's shed a whole new light on it. Thank you for sharing your information. Live and learn, If I quit learning new thing's about marble's there wouldn't be much sense in pursuing the hobby, I would be at an impasse. At this rate I don't think I have "anything" to worry about.I have seen some, if I remember right old white gropper boxes of cerise agates at marble show's but never payed them much credence, they were usually far out of my price range. I'm going to take another look @ the similar one I have to see if it's a cerise or not, it measures 23/32 well shy of 1 inch, the more I look the more positive I am mine's a Christensen. I will post a picture as soon as I download my pic's again so you can tell me what you think, thank's again Bill.
