Alot of good post for WV Wednesday 👍👍

It's a lot of fun, creating threads for the marble masses....I know I've come up with a handful since joining in March. I'm sure you've seen how a new thread can take off running and how an older one gets occasionally injections of life. Something always fits somewhere. And there is Always something getting posted that's amazing, inspiring, educational, etc., indeed go for it! You'll come up with a theme 😊

Share it every time you score if you choose to, my man! It's always good to see findings from the wild 😊....I'm actually happy too see some folks starting to score again, seems like it's been kinda slow since mid July with the posts. Love it 👍 -
Hit Chad up on that one 😊

Top notch, just like everything else rolled out by Bahr Productions 😁👍 -
I'm still twitching a little bit today, plus having a lazy day too keep my heart rate down, otherwise feeling better 😁

Maybe Jabo, but then again....all I know is that it's flat out cool 👍

As I sit home today watching the news, one of the headlines has me leaning up out of my chair. Turns out not only did Winona, Minnesota get a ton of rain yesterday, but also a major public "disturbance" at it's well known antique mall, "Treasures Under Sugar Loaf". Footage from the late afternoon yesterday shows the front door off it's hinges and various antiques scattered in the parking lot. Inside, the scene is a bunch of shattered glass and huge vendor display cases tossed on there sides. With the local authorities milling about, a reporter from the news station I am watching is interviewing a visibly shaken employee, asking the question "Who's responsible for all this carnage?" She replies "It was a customer who shops here about once a month". "He collects marbles." "He shopped for probably 2 hours before coming back to the front desk with nothing in his hands, looking kinda weird." "He stated that everywhere he looked, all he saw was cheap, overpriced glass." With every word, his voice got deeper and his skin began quickly changing too this greenish color." "And he got so BIG!" "He just started yelling William SMASH, William SMASH!" I just sat there thinking Oh my God what have I done. I really need to score soon or get serious help 🤢

No kidding, I keep coming back to this post every time I'm checking out this forum...hard too take the eyes off of it in all its shimmering, glittery glory 😎 -
Winona ended up getting anywhere from 5 too 7 inches in some areas! We got another almost 2 inches today from 4am until now. Probably have a few more rounds of rain tonight.

Thanks for providing the facts on this earlier this year....at the time I was unsure so glad I posted about it then. Don't think I would have dropped that amount of cash unless they were legitimate and VHTF....would had to have been a way more affordable price than that, too. Still have people trying to pass some off as the real deal on Ebay 🤔

Ha! The one attached, the guy wants at least 100 bucks more! Crazy 😬

I didn't score any marbles today, but had to have this unique 1940's toy. Original box, papers plus the toy itself is in excellent shape. Great story too. Vintage at it's best! 😁

I think it was discussed earlier in this thread regarding gearshift knobs....I grabbed a couple of pics of the 2 that I saw months back in Winona, Minnesota at an antique mall there. The consensus I believe was that Akro possibly never produced gearshift knobs. I didn't have the attendant open this cabinet as they were pretty busy with other customers but so here they are. Thought I would share. It's not a suprise that these are still sitting here after all these months, pretty pricey! Sorry for the glare in the pic of the gearshift knob still attached to its hardware, it was a little difficult because these displays are crammed full of stuff.

You got that right, that's some nice stuff 👍
