  4. Cool stuff Chad. I will have to put his stuff into my will. Marble--on!!
  5. I agree--the pink hue sets it off--nice deep black though. Marble--On!!
  6. It is not a Vitro--MK may be the right call. It does have a foriegn look to it but I cannot place it. Nice liitle bugger!!! Marble--On!!
  7. If I were into names, I would call it an older Vitro Conqueror with a nice colored base glass. The bigger ones of this type are just killer. I appreciate all opinions and will accept any. Marble—on!!
  8. This is just a quick group shot on top of a bunch of “Kleenix”—LOL. Yes—I do get lazy—but it seems to have worked out. Marble—On Pelt-Heads!!
  9. Nice marbles for sure--My eye went right the the lower left one. Very nice example! Marble--On!!
  10. I think that a lot of folks are waiting for results- Start out small. I always figured that a jar filled with beat up marbles would be a great place to start. A little jar--lol. I have used resin in the past--it works quite well. My youngest brother was in the first Gulf War--he actually sent me a live Scorpion from Iraq---yes--very alive. Claws up--- stinger ready to pounce--lol. I put it in the freezer to kill it and made a resin block with it. He has it back now--not so alive. It worked out really well. You are the “Guinea Pig” here—your idea—show some results and you will be copied—for sure. Marble—On!!
  11. No clue on these Fire--they are a bit different. Marble--On!!
  12. CharlieT, You wil get more responses if you keep the number of marbles in a post to three or less. A bit more light is needed as well. #4 and #5 are probobly Akro Patch type marbles. Marble--On!!
  13. Pretty cool--nice colors as well. Marble--On!
  14. Good stuff Chad--the op is just differnt imho. More images are needed Marble--On!!
  15. Very cool--I would sort them as Akro Marble--On!!
  16. Ummmm--this is a tuff one--Vitro maybe--maybe an Akro. Marble--On!!
  17. This is a tuff one to be sure--thanks for saving it. Not an "Onionskin" however--just a cool old marble. Marble--On!!
  18. ??? Names are not my thing--Maybe?? Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  19. There are many that collect gear shift knobs that post here--I for one would love to hear more about them. I couild never afford any one that I came across. The cross collectable thing was always a thing--kind of like radiator caps--I alway dug them--still do--too rich for my taste though. Marble--On!!
  20. Lamp parts are very cool to collect--sooner or later you can build a killer lamp. They made these whout any ryme or reason----imagination is a very cool thing to have with these parts. Build on!!
  21. These would glow like lights out imho Great stuff Tommy!
  22. Personally—I have not ever seen one over 11/16”. I believe that they came larger—maybe ¾”but that would be my limit with these---the “Silver Oxbloods”. The rest that you name-the “egg yolk ox”s would be up to an inch—rare but true imho. “Lemonades” are all over the place with sizes. The term “Lemonade” covers a bunch of different Akro marbles Imho. Some of the Jabo contract runs had marbles that closely resemble Akro “Eggyolk and Oxblood” marbles. Do the research before you buy—always. They –the Jabo are very nice---just not Akro. Marble—On!!
  23. I have tought of this many times--just for a display. Go for it! Marble--On!!
  24. I do not think that Akro made any of these gearshift knobs--ever. I am not a collector of these but I think that they were produced from many companies east of the Mississippi River. Marble—On!!
