I would call both of them slags--Akro? I cannot say here. Marble--On!!
  5. Good eye--Post it when you get it for sure. Marble--On!!
  6. First and most accurate--"Flinties" are opalescent, not UV reactive. You may have an Akro there--just not a Flintie. Nice looker-- Marble--On!!
  7. I love funky. Here is a pair of “funky Imperials” Marble—On!!
  8. These are Ramps Fire, Spring-time delights. I am sure that you could find some in Colorado. WV does not own the rights to these. If @wvrons spends time away from marbles to pick them--well you know that they are worth the while. https://www.thespruceeats.com/ramps-and-wild-leeks-3034534 I have them on either side of my lot and only pick a few greens from each plant—I want them to be there for many years—the greens are the thing with me. Ramps –On!!
  9. A lot of folks may call this one “pretty”—it is ugly to me because it is a rip-off of a Vacor Atmosphere. Don’t worry I paid little for it—live and learn. Marble—On!!
  10. This is a "unique" marble Fire. What is the size? It may be an Akro---or a Vacor? There are no ugly marbles--just "unique"♨️. Marble--On!!
  11. The bottom left is a Jabo imho. The rest are Vitro. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!

    4 Jabo?

    I agree. Marble--On!!
  13. The green and red is a CAC. The red and whitish needs more opinions. Marble--On!
  14. Left to right-- Master, Master, Akro--imho. Nice looking patches! All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  15. Yikes! Great marble! I do not know what else I would call it. Marble--On!!
  16. Master with this one. Me too.
  17. All three are Pelts. The one on the right is a nice one. Marble--On!!
  18. Five. There are some with less and some with more. Akro Sparklers are machine made marbles and they may have an unwritten rule with collectors but they are still marbles that may have, or may not have, met the expectations’ of collectors. Master Made Marbles will not have five colors in the opinion of most collectors but they as well are machine made marbles that may have four or less----or more than four colors as well. This is the way of machine made marbles. Marble—On!!
  19. Cullet always opens your eyes! Thanks again to all of the diggers past and present. Marble--On!!
  20. Yes, do it and get as many opinions as possible. Marble--On!!
  21. Good post Pittsburgh. I have collected all of my life--old cool stuff that was in my opinion--just “old cool stuff”. It started with furniture that was defunct is most opinions, given the prices that I paid back in my auction attending days. None of my family before me or any current family ever "collected"--anything at all. I am the odd duck. My older Brother is into collecting cars—but that has its limits. He was always been a mechanic, I am just a fixer (my wife says that I can fix anything). History was always a fascination with me. I really wanted to grow up and be an anthropologist. This is a thing that never happened and it is not so surprising, because people are not my thing—just not my thing. I love my fellow human race but I do not like being around them—for too long anyhow. I have collected so many things that I would bore you to list them. Marbles caught me and they have held me for about 30 years now. I cannot explain it. I still pick up the occasional “cool old thing “once in awhile though. My only other interests are gardening and bird watching—life long interests. The odd thing with me is –once I have it, I have no problem passing it on to the next—or the next (even my hard grown vegetables’). My display is small and it consists of boxes mainly. I sold some marbles years ago—just not my thing. For whatever reason—I just love Akro Agate glass—it is hard to part with for me—but I will sooner than later. My kids, grandkids and great grandkids would be overwhelmed. I have more respect for marbles and marble collectors than I do for money—oh well. If I ever go to another show, I may well set up a free table and pass it all on to the next generation. On to the next—pass them along! Marble—On!!
  22. I posted this one in another thread yesterday. It took me so much time that it is worth another shot here. I think that it is a game marble with pollution—but it swirls---and it is a peewee. Marble—On!!
  23. Dithering--great word! I will continue as well----dithering---at least here someone will set me straight. Marble--On!!
  24. Nice job Mojo! What is the very first one--killer marble--they all are of course. Marble--On!!
