  1. I like to see some "junk stuff" from a junk store--you never know do you? They are not valuable at all--sorry for the info but honesty prevails here at "TheMarbleConnection". The ID of marbles has most "Antinque Shops" or "Junk Shops" spinning. Most of them employ a "Marble expert" for advice. Regardless of the advice these shops/sellers will put them in jars and hope for the best because the size of the jar takes up little room. Alway post an image before you buy if you are interested. Marble--On!!
  2. These are always a hard ID. The top image does show a glass marble on the left--stiil--little value. Thanks for sharing them! Marble--On!!
  3. They are very "pretty” marbles, I agree but like you said—they made millions of these. This one is a common variety. Marble—On!!

    I.D anyone

Little value because of the damage. It is a nice find for a collector of these---just a place keeper imho. 1 dollar—maybe. I do not mean to be harsh—just honest. Marble—On!!
  5. I agree with all that has been said here. She is just a great marble person! Marble--On!!
  6. Your opinion matters a great deal as all opinions here do. It is just a matter of averaging them out and coming to the very best conclusion that we here at "TheMarbleConnection" can give. Never think that your opinion does not count--never. I look forward to more of your opinions and welcome them all. Marble--On!!
  7. Amber, Clear then Green based marbles are my experience with this type of “Germans”. I would call this one red rather than orange based on the images. I have never held one or seen one in person but I think that the ID is right on. As far as UV reaction goes—I am not too sure about these types—nuff said. Nice size, nice condition—just not CAC imho. A very nice find! Nice marble, thanks’ for sharing it. Marble—On!!
  8. I like the name @Nantucketdink but I do not recognize the marbles. Your ID seems to fit What are they? (I am guessing English). I learn something here every day! Marble—On!!
  9. It is all about fun Mojo. I like the comparison between the two. I love-em both the same😁. Marble--On!!
  10. I think that it is cool too and these are some of my favorites as well. The top left images also shows some "Feathering" in the blue matrix----very cool!!! I do not know if you backlight your marbles but try it if you do not. A smaller flashlight like a "pen" light will do the best to shine through the marble with no light blare for the eyes. Once again--nice find! Marble--On!!
  11. Good eye Linda Gail! Nice marble--for sure! Marble--On!!

Everything adds upppppp! Nice Find--great colors! Marble--On!!
  13. Hmmm, I see it as being 9/16". I may be in trouble here with my conversions--oh well. I have been out of it too long--I will get back to it-----pretty soon. I appreciate all for your imput. Marble--On!!
  14. Size matters as always. The images show me an out of round Jabo "Classic" in a larger size. Just saying--- I appreciate all opinions’ for sure Marble--On!!
  15. Good try to squeeze a good ID out of a Jabo my friend, these are worth it. Nice looking marbles--very close to your ID. Marble--On!!
  16. Nice images Melissa--very nice! No CAC here imho--a very nice WVS. Marble--On!!
  17. With Vacor marbles (all marbles for that matter) size is important. I agree that these look more like Vacor than anything else that I can imagine. The first marble appears to be smaller than the second one imho. The larger marble will get different coverage of the colors—in most cases. My Vote is that you are right on here. Marble--On!!
  18. X3--nice green one! Marble--On!!
  19. The rare ones have old german swirls--not that yours is not rare. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  20. OK here I go quoting myself again— This one looks so similar to many newer modern machine made “Contract or “Shop Made” marbles (you all know them) that crisp clear images are needed for the most part in this ID. I went back to the top looking for “Play wear” or “Pocket wear”. It is evident that there is some here. The seams look right for a Pelt—good job figuring that out. This one is a Pelt Christmas Tree. (imho) Marble—On!!
  21. Good wife--good life! Nice cannon ball--I wish that I had one. I just love orbs. Marble--On!!
  22. I agree with Melissa--nice find, nice ID as well! Marble--On!!
  23. I agree with Al--the first image shows a straight cut mark--it may be a fracture though. I think that all posted are more than likely some form or make of a WVS. Nice images! Marble—On!!
  24. We collectors used to call these "Millers". This one is an older Pelt imho--very nice and quite valuable imho. I am waiting to see what the best of the best have to say--it is worth a bump up. Marble--On!!
  25. My first response was an internal cackle---wow! They are still out there! Good find! Marble—On!!
