  6. This is a Vitro “Master Tray” the marbles are 7/8”. The brass has great “Patina” and the inside was obviously used as an “ash tray”. I want to clean the inside and then again not—just leave it alone says my instinct. (it does not stink at least to my used-up senses) Tell me what you think. I will post some images below of the tray itself along with a smaller one on top. Thanks and Marble—On!!
  7. I purchased this box a few years ago—glass top under the cover –very nice shape—I just love old boxes like this—guess why I purchased it? It needs some fixin but my fingers are not that steady anymore-maybe next week. Marble—On!!
  8. I posted this one a few years ago. I have not posted many images lately, so this is a start. I figured that it was a dug game marble--probably a Champion. Here is part of my question back then. “Notice the copper and the silver colors—even a bit of rust. The metal dives in and out of the matrix—do not ask me why this happened—it just did—a product of machine made marble production is good enough for me.” If it did not have the metallic look-I would call it a game marble. This is a game marble on steroids—and I just love it." Any ideas otherwise? Marble—On!!
  9. A Marble Pouch? Pretty cool-It could be an airfreshener if you hung the Irish Spring in it. It reminds me of some old Native American designs--maybe a lizard. Marble--On!!
  10. Vitro imho Dave--All reds without the red? Marble--On!!
  11. Rainbo sounds right to me--nice backlight action. Marble--On!!
  12. Welcome Marble701, Show us what you have. Marble--On!!
  13. Master Glass imho--nice find! These usually do not have any blue involved. Marble--On!!
  14. I am in old mode--sorry I miissed it Dave. Marble--On!!
  15. Thanks @cheese😁--strike three for me😁. That was the very first time that I typed Pennsboro ---swing and a miss. I will go lie down by my dish once again. Marble--On!!
  16. As far as charity goes--fill up a quart jar or smaller and ask $30--they will fly off the shelf. Marble--On!!
  17. I would consider this one as a Vitro "Hybrid" Cateye--but lets wait for more opinions here. This is a very pretty marble!----Just a "Killer". At this size--"top notch" once again imho. Very nice! @Melissa and @Ric may have some different opinions here. Like I said--low value--I do not know why--but very cool. This would be more than welcomed in my collection! Marble--On!!
  18. Thanks--I could look at that second image all day long and be satisfied. It is not a high dollar marble--just a very cool one and I would love to see some more images of it. Great job there! The rest are just--hmmm--not too special imho, probably asian. I do not know what to call it though, the second one. Nice clear base glass--not from overseas imho. It may be a Vitro--but @Ric would know for sure. Great marble!! If you are a seller--too bad--if you are a collector--top notch! Marble--On!!
  19. "Larger" means nothing here--the size is important--get a plastic calipers and size them. The second image that you show is a killer marble--no doubt.---Love it! Marble--On!!
  20. Hmmm, I do not recognize these as USA made marbles. Maybe @Mojo or @shiroaiko can help here. @davesnothere and @YasudaCollector may have some input as well. These are just weird to me and any help is welcomed for sure. Marble--On!!
  21. @Melissa will know these for sure. Marble--On!!
  22. This is not a "Blue Raven" my marblecollecting friend. It is a wvs of some type-imho. For some reason-- I would not call it an Alley Agate. All opinions are needed here for sure. Marble--On!!
  23. Calligraphy? It would be a stretch imho. I have no problem calling it an Alley Agate--a very nice one. It stacks up to be a slag--one base color and white--but these are now known by most collectors to be a swirl. Everyone made slags back then--easy to make and quite a good seller. All of the glass was in one furnace--easy-peesy, no secondary streams, glass colors do not mix as in clay or scrambled eggs---or "Playdoh". This is a nice one--beat up yes--but still a cool find. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  24. Lets make a call to @Nantucketdink--these seem to be up his alley. @Melissa aslo collects this type--lets get her opinion as well👍. Marble--On!!
  25. Yes! imho of course. Nice ID! this is a tuff one for sure. @Fire1981 will nail it down. Marble--On!!
