  1. “Jabo Contract Marbles” are all over the place on e-bay, all glitter and sparkle but this one caught my eye. Round and mint at ¾”. I cannot remember the run—I just get them because I like them. I asked myself “How many Oxblood, transparent based swirls do you have”. Some of these are worth shelling out for imho. I do not need hundreds of them, one or two will do. Marble—On!!
  2. At 1 inch I would agree that it is an Akro---Top Notch for sure. One of the very best big slags that I have seen--ever. It does appear to be a machine made marble and Akro made more of these that any other. Marble--On!!
  3. There is nothing but support from me Ric. My mother passed at 90 earlier this year. I was lucky in the sense that all of my siblings were on the same page. Keep on keepin on! This too shall pass! Great marble by the way--I love these crystal clear based white slags. Marble--On!!
  4. I am glad that you got my drift, my fellow collector. Collect what you like and like what you collect---just don't pay too much🙃--lol. Collect--On!!
  5. "Not Like The Others" for sure. Vitro, at one time, marketed all of their marbles as "all reds". You have one with none---pretty cool imho. Marble--On!!
  6. Chad has it pegged. This seller has sold hundreds---hundreds--- of these boxes--not even close to being rare. Each to their own. Not in my world, not even close. ( I do like some Chinese marbles but at least the Chinese tell you what they are) I made a few “fake” boxes in my early days of collecting that just blow these away---I always marked them as such—just in case—you know—☣️. Marble—On, and Live-on as well!!!
  7. Here is a nice set of six. They are not perfect but who is under the bright lights. I have a #150 tin that will love them and I get to choose which five---love it. A back-fillers dream. Marble—On!!!
  8. Here are a few orange Akro marbles that I got from a “digger” years ago. I wonder if they are the same glass as the “Pumpkin” ashtray. The more orange looking marbles have little flecks of yellow in them and the more yellow looking one has streaks of orange in it. I suppose that the “Akroware” stuff cooled/annealed differently in the molds that were used. Most pumpkin colored “Akroware” has a more orange looking color at the edges. Who knows—could be. Marble—On!!!
  9. Not veneered--just a cat reaching for the sky imho. Veneered marbles are surface applied to a base glass; this one is coming out from the interior. Marble King marbles are veneering kings but these cats were injected into the interior of a glob of glass--sometimes the injection veered off course and came up to the exterior. Marble—On!!
  10. It is a pelt--no question about that in my mind. If it is not what the pelt-heads call a "Blues Brothers"--I give up on all Pelt names. Great patience Gladys, you are a collector who should be followed/mirrored. Marble--On!!
  11. This one is 2 ¼”. I found it put together with old nasty yellowed glue and love. I loved it as much as the person from the past that decided to keep the pieces together. I took it home, soaked the glue out and decided that Scotch tape did a better job---for now. I still have a few ideas to make it look better and it deserves it, as does the one that preserved it. Love it, respect it!! Marble—On!!
  12. Love it Alan--put it in your eye and take an image----Akro-eyed for sure!!!🧿
  13. No mirror Chad, I had not noticed it until you posted--the images just lined up quite well.. especially for free hand--LOL No shakes today obviously..
  14. Same tray, I just shook them up a bit. I agree Gladys it is kind of hypnotized-----
  15. I think that you may have some "newer" (2000-2003) MK multi-color cats. Nice looking marbles. Marble--On!!!
  16. Cool beans, Is that big one in the back one a sulphide from the ocean? I see some corkscrews and a possible "Flintie"--maybe two. One on the left--front, in the fourth image, almost looks hollow.
  17. Master Glass vs Master Made perhaps?
  18. Could be a Vitro or a Jabo Gladys. I am not sold on either. Marble--On!!
  19. Yes Gladys, I looked at all of the images. This is what I see; A veneered marble with veneering that does not quite touch side to side. Seams/cutoffs that at least look like I could feel them with my fingernail. Some separation in the veneering. Opposing colors top and bottom and oxblood looking glass reminiscent of that seen in Marble King marbles. There may be some pollutants in the whitish broken line. And a water buffalo with cutoff horns The base glass does not matter much to me in this instance. In my world this would be sorted as a MK. I just call them like I see them. Still a great marble. Keep em coming! Marble—On!!!
  20. I love it Fire, Opinions are like Water Buffalos---they keep coming at you, never give up! Give us more images Gladys. Marble--On!!! and Opinions on as well!!!
  21. Check out my new post Berryb, There are no “bad” marbles and no “boring” collections. Some great stuff is yet to be found. Marble--On
  22. Thanks Gladys, I see many that I like! Lay them out and show us. Keep them coming folks!! Marble--On!!
  23. Keep coming back Da Roberto. Opinions from overseas are a great thing. Marble--On!!
