  1. You did well. Always trust your instincts and never look back. Marble—On!!
  2. This one is rightfully named but that does not explain the price----crazy, crazy, crazy for a really common example at one inch. This is what happens when multiple “bidders” show up. Check the bidding/bidders profile and take it from there. https://www.ebay.com/itm/234488112228?hash=item369894a464:g:inAAAOSwUtpiRPru This is skunky---at least to me. Marble--On!!
  3. I have had some marbles "polished" Yours was worth the effort for sure. If you feel bad--fall in line. Live and learn as we all have done. Always check for pontils. It is a beauty! Marble--On!!
  4. Lots of fun there Mojo--a very nice bunch--even if found in the USA. Marble-On!!
  5. Here is one that you will not see every day. A one inch, blue based, “brushed patch” Master Glass marble. This one is back lit and flash filled while back lit. Marble—On!!

  7. Backlight them all Fire and hit them with UV as well. Marble--On!!
  8. Many Vacors are hard to appreciate until you do some research. They have the bad and the good---and the quite excellant as well. Buyers beware, there were/are some Vacors that were sold by the company as a sand-blasted or a tumbled variety. Hurricanes and Michelangelo's were two of them. They are quite rare. (quite nice if you find the originals, but the nets are easy to open and refill ) These are being reproduced(who would have thought 20 years ago that this would be the case) Marble--On!!
  9. This one looks normal for a Vitro---Not!! It is Opal based. Backlight them all!! Marble—On!!
  10. Those are nice marbles Tommy. They do not grow on trees. Marble--On!!
  11. Those last two shots that are backlit are just very nice Images of what a Vacor may be in hand. Marble--On!!
  12. Here ya go Fire. Ric and I were on the same page today. I just shot a purple one. I love these clear based Vitro marbles. Marble—On!!
  13. I will call this one an opposing “Helmet” at 5/8”. The stripes are wrong, oh well. Transparent clear and transparent green based. Who knows what to call it other than Vitro “magic”. Marble—On!!
  14. Size matters, it may be a Champion imho. Marble--On!!
  15. This one may be a slag. Marble--On!!

  18. Here are two odd ones that caught my eye today. I have no idea where they were made other than West Virginia, no Vacor here. Both are 9/16”. Any opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  19. Here is a link that may answer some age questions. https://www.ebay.com/itm/313867881570?hash=item4913fbcc62%3Ag%3AqPUAAOSwuIViAsW4&nma=true&si=plXNywam4YYK5ydH6ifJ%2BJk%2B3CA%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Marble--On!!

  23. Yes, a corkscrew. Marble--On!!
  24. Yes, a Vacor "Twister" on the first one. If the second one has a metallic finish it may be a Vacor Wavebreaker. Metallic finish is hard to get an image of for me. Marble--On!!
