  1. There were/are--very few companies that made/make these big ones. I looked and looked for an ID--no luck imho. The best that I could come up with is a Vacor--from Mexico—probably a “Picasso”. It could be a version of some from Asia. The thing with these big ones is that they do not act the same when being made as the smaller versions. You may find some really great ones and you may find some like yours with multiple folds and less than desirable colors. The sheen comes from a spray that was used on the marbles once they were on the rollers being “rounded”. This is why “Picasso” is a bad ID imho. This is not a great marble—but a fun ID for sure. I appreciate you showing it—let’s see some more—I just love this stuff! Marble—On!!
  2. It may be a "beach marble". Believe it or not there are folks that collect these. From the actual oceans beaches to the Great Lakes. I cannot make a proper ID here. (it may be an Akro"Imperial) Marble--On!!
  3. Yes, I agree. I was always surprised that this type, with the lighter green did not get a name for themselves. Marble--On!!
  4. @Chad G. is into this stuff as well. I will tell you this much--Images with two or three marbles are more easily identified. Get some images together and get ready for some info. @I'llhavethat1 and @Chad G. will love to look more closely. I may forgeting a few--add them if you know them folks. Marble--On!!
  5. Nice marble Joe 2! Just for kicks—check this one under UV light. I have never seen a “Popeye Patch” with these colors but I would like to see the results for sure. Marble—On!!
  6. I think that you may have a not so lazy Vitro "All Red" there. Marble--On!!
  7. Nicer images for sure! More opiions are needed. Perhaps @Mojo will chime in here. Marble--On!!
  8. This is a great looking "Andy"--top shelf if the other side is Mint (green?). These two are a nice find for sure! Marble--On!!
  9. Nice images for sure. If anyone has the new copy of Andys book--look these up. They may just be some early Vacor imho. Marble--On!!
  10. This is the way--post these two together and any others that you have that may have the same colors involved. We will all try to track these down for sure. I am with Chad here, they do not look Peltish enough to be a Pelt. We may be looking at some foriegn marbles here. These are very cool and I would love to see what the final results are. Marble--On!!
  11. This thread has one that looks similar. I wonder? Marble--On!!

    Vitro?

It looks like a Vitro to me. A "tiger eye" that got a tad messy. All opinions are appreciated. Marble--On!!
  13. This one is giving me some large Pelt "Rainbo" vibes. They can get pretty messy. Marble--On!!
  14. I agree--wonkey for sure! Cairo? Marble--On!!
  15. These last three--Over the top! Nice finds all! Marble--On!!
  16. At that size--probably a MFC--nice one! Marble--On!!
  17. I will lean towards Vitro here. Perhaps some form of "Conqueror". Marble--On!!
  18. I agree with Chad, Akro. A little light always helps. It has all the makings of a “Hybrid” Popeye—it is just a tad lazy on the cork action. Nice find imho. Marble—On!!
  19. Slags are hard but these are both MFC to my eyes at least. Marble--On!!
  20. Another hard one to call here. Does it include oxblood? Marble--On!!
  21. Nice looking marble here for sure! Your holder shoud be smaller to show more of the marble. I am thinking that this one may be from Mexico based on the images. Marble-On!!
  22. Crop them and give a whole image of the cutlines. I doubt that it is Master--or an Akro. Marble--On!!
  23. Nice marble! I agree with Fire. I looked very hard for it to be an Akro--no luck. Marble--On!!
