  1. Yikes! Right at the spring hanger too! So glad I don't live in a rust belt. THankfully stuff from the 60's still looks like this around here....
  2. Great looking group! One of my favorite marble types. I agree with Big John, prices have dropped over the last couple years. Still a very marketable marble though.
  3. LOL, lunch it is. How about I drive and do all the talking.
  4. Well, good for you. I am happy you made that kind of money! I wish I could find buyers like that. Clyde drives too crazy for me to carpool with. And Galen talks too much. LOL
  5. Did the buyer pay for the transaction yet? Not really my business, but wonder if its someone playing games.
  6. Yikes! THats a lot of coin for some commons......
  7. The right photo in your first post shows what happens if you remove too much glass, the black will be gone. I had one sent to Leroy for polishing and he stated that I would lose more than gained, so we just buffed it to shine. I then sent it to a very good friend of mine. I would leave both of yours alone.
  8. Ha! Thats bad ass. She is very creative. I like it!
  9. Black/yellow is one of the more (or most) common color combos of striped opaques. I agree with Craigs given value of said marble.
  10. Why are you done with marbles? You don't enjoy them any more?
  11. Nice! Not too often I get to see these.
  12. Nice, the baby blue/trans red is very nice. One of my favorite color combos of CAC's.
  13. LOL, always a pleasure to view your photos and commentary.
  14. I think master as well. I rarely find the transparent dark blue ones with more than just white on them. Nice.
  15. We might not have gotten as much snow, but damn was it could a couple days ago. hard to explain what 40 below feels like when you can't even feel your face.
  16. Now that is an awesome tradition! Way too much fun!
  17. Nice! Does the base glass glow under blacklight?
  18. Agreed. Frank can also get kind of whiney. "But you gave Mike a deal on that...." I too would rather deal with a guy like Mike. Much straighter shooter.
