  1. I don't think Superballs were made with mixed matrix rubber. That looks like truly old rubber (pre-1950s) made in a bullet mold-like process.
  2. AFAIK Gutta Percha isn't made with a seam.
  3. To state the (fairly) obvious - thats a weak imprint, which does affect value.
  4. The first words are "Ing-Rich". It is an abbreviation for Ingram-Richardson, a maker of porcelain products.
  5. The marble is a contemporary. The scope appears to be the same.
  6. Looks like the glass wasn't ready. Lots of undissolved colorant on the outside. Like iron slag.
  7. Here is a good thread: https://marbleconnection.com/topic/16798-you-gotta-love-contemporaries/
  8. Stirring the pot is what led to the substantial decline of this board's membership. This board has never really recovered from that. Conflict, distrust and attitudes that feed upon negative developments in the marble collecting hobby are the worst side of this hobby. It was nearly the end of this board, the reason that many people left and didn't return and the reason that I left for a long time. Encouraging disharmony and distrust among collectors has no place on a respectable board. If it is tolerated again - its time for collectors to go where higher standards of behavior are supported. Some people feed upon conflict. I'm not one of them.
  9. Those are crummy fakes that couldn't fool an 80% blind man. But that wasn't their purpose. They were made solely to stir the pot.
  10. If they care to take the time - yes.
  11. I can't identify it by artist. There have been a number of torch folks knocking them off over the years. I know that its not SP. But it has all the hallmarks of torch work with Moretti glass.

    Akro ?

Agree on that point. Based upon the glass flow - I'd say likely Akro, probably an anemic Sparkler that doesn't fit the definition of a Sparkler.
  13. There was a metal band around the middle and it was inverted.
  14. Kerosene jug which fueled an older kitchen range.
  15. Jabo. Glass flows in an infinite number of ways. Look at it long enough - you can see almost anything.
  16. Thats not a chip. It a Pro Golfer's Tour divot.
  17. Modern Mexican by Vacor de Mexico.
  18. Unremarkable, mass-produced clearies. Good probability of being modern.
