  1. So sad to read. Ron was one of the first collectors that I met outside of the West Coast. Just a great help and inspiration to learn about the marble collecting hobby. He and I communicated about marbles over the years and I saw him at the few shows that I attended in the midwest and east coast. My prayers to his family. RIP.
  2. That last one is a foreign marble - commonly referred to as "Imperial".
  3. Here is a picture by Bill Tow of the marble with Les's ashes in it given to him by Sue Jones. No information on who made it.
  4. Then there was a post by Jeroen back in 2010 about a Roman marble (200 - 300 AD) found in The Netherlands. Here are some pics of it.
  5. Bert Cohen had some Roman marbles but the only picture that I can find of his was one picture of one donated to the Marble Museum, back when Chris Cooper ran it. Here is the pic. - not really helpful.
  6. $159 for a bag of contemporary torchwork marbles??? Here is my bag, front and back - 2003. I'd let it go for $99. Maybe Ferguson is still in business?
  7. Here is pic of 2nd Run - not sure who posted.
  8. Paula C. had posted these on FB and wondering if they are Alley or Champion (like New Old Fashion)?
  9. I don't see Wicked Owl for that one unless there are some newer ones that are different from the old. Here are some of my Wicked Owl bags from mid-to-late 90's forward.
  10. I have seen pics of yellow and orange (much lighter red type) Flinties also.
  11. Vitro Whitie in upper right
