  1. There's no picture of the cover of the box in the 7-Up listing. Thought I'd mention it as the box can be where the value is.
  2. I agree with the Spiderman term for Blue & Red. When there is some yellow blending in with the red (orangey), that's when I was told it become a Superboy.
  3. I'd say Vacor for sure. Not sure about Galaxy (maybe Stelaris or an older one with no name) but here are some pics from years past by Don Miller and Mr. Bales of the Vacor "Guinea" types.
  4. Here is one of Galen's pictures from 2005
  5. One in lower left is part of Champions group ID'd by Ric & Ron at Texas Show some years back. Looks similar.
  6. Sorry to read this. My condolences to family and friends, too.
  7. After looking at the pictures in the 4 posts, I'd say that Peltier is a good bet.
  8. Sorry to hear that. Prayers to his family.
  9. That seems like a fair price - actually is a bag that I don't have.
  10. And, probably one of the first handmade cat's-eyes - by Ro Purser in 1974-75 (picture by zaboo).
  11. A real cat's-eye bag (see label/header) - Pressman.
  12. I would say that it is not European based on my limited knowledge - seems like the Europeans have a little gap on the seams.
  13. Does look like another snotty
  14. Here's Galen's picture from 2007 of CA's with "tongues", which I think are the diaper folds.
  15. Thanks - another scorcher (98 or so - 9th or 10th day in a row over 90) out here in Oregon where it is normally in the high 70's, low 80's. No humidity so just hot (like Arizona heat).
  16. I agree - it looks like the foreign types that come in Imperial Toy packaging.

    Pontils

Here's a close-up picture that Dan did back in 2005 - thought I'd post it with his description: Pontils: Regular, Ground/Faceted, Melted, and Bullet Mold. Then there are Manufacturer or Cut Marks: Pinpoint, Folded, Pinch, Crease(spider web), and a Seam(which normally runs from pole to pole). Hope this helps.
  18. Just want to make sure on measuring - how are you doing it - caliper or...? The reason I ask is because the Peltier Rainbo mentioned above, usually has skewed ribbons when it reaches the 15/16 and inch size.
  19. I'll be there Wednesday afternoon. All you folks east of the Rockies, come on out and enjoy the "no humidity" climate of the Pacific Northwest, besides getting together with all the great people out here.
  20. The only thing you did not mention is whether it has a clear base. Popeyes have the clear base glass, wispy white and two (or more) colors.
  21. I think the right one is Champion. The attached pictures are ones that I had ID'd by Ron & Ric at a Texas Show a few years ago. The one with greem & orange seems to match style-wise and glass-wise. The others are various blue & orange ones 9maybe with more opaque white) but they do seem to fit. The one pic from a bag was from a Champion Whirlwind bag that I have.
