  1. Middle one sort of has a CAC Snottie look
  2. MK has a Blizzard - maybe that is what you are thinking of?
  3. Is it really yellow or, like with some red slags, is it the depth of the white below the transparent red?
  4. Makes me remember Steve Cogdill (big time Pelt collector in So. Cal.) - nickname peawee
  5. I agree. There are a lot of messed up cat's-eyes of that type - many missing vanes or very faint vanes, etc. Quality control was not the primary thing when those were made.
  6. That looks like one of those messed up foreign (Japanese) cat's-eyes with some very faint or missing vane(s).
  7. Here are a couple pictures that I had saved. The one in rows was by Guy and he had "maybe" on some. The other picture was posted by Steve (peawee) back in 2004.
  8. Ron - so Heaton did not make cat's-eyes, or at least the banana style, or was that bag one where Bogard used the Heaton bag?
  9. Just so people don't get fooled - Vacor (Mega) "slags".
  10. Neat Champion bag! And the "Drink Klicker" bag. By the way, I have searched off and on for years for a Klicker/Starkey bottle to use in my soda bottle / marble advertising bag display. Has anyone ever seen one? I can't even find a picture much less a bottle (or can?).
  11. If you are good, you only need one shooter.
  12. So, for those of us who don't know what these are, are these the transitionals that seem to show up from Canada (from 50's-60's) or what...?
  13. I have seen similar ones before but rarely. They seem to show up more in the cage style. These are the cat's-eyes where there seem to be "invisible", or very faint vanes. To me, this should be a 12 vane cat's-eye with the 4 pairs of vanes and the white crossthroughs.
  14. These type of bags came in some of the marble packaging like these from Danlee.
  15. Back in 2001, Mary M. had considered all of these to be Sunsets.
  16. That one is a red slag. The orangeish and other colors than red and white are due to the transparent red going over the white at different depths and making it look like other colors.
  17. Copied from a previous ad and forgot to change one or the other - mistakes happened even in the old days - LOL.
  18. Here are some CAC Pistachio pieces that buckeyedr posted back in 2011.
