  1. Galen - probably since '99
  2. Your story similar to mine - bought several years ago from guy whose grandfather had it as a kid. Same types of marbles, too.
  3. I know most people don't collect metal on marbles (not including the metallic sheen on newer marbles) but I think everyone has one or two that cross into your collection of whatever you do collect. I'm posting some of the ones that I have collected over the years. In doing these group pics, you cannot always tell the metallic in the pics. I* just did flash pics to try and bring out what metallic I could. Some are a small piece, some stripes, some follow the swirls and others almost cover half the marble. BUt, you'll get the idea that it shows up on a wide variety of machine made marbles.
  4. I didn't think Hugh signed off on licensing any Wolverine games.....LOL.
  5. I noticed on Facebook that Mary Maslanka's husband Stan passed away recently. Prayers to the family.
  6. Ron had posted this back in Jan 2013 - Beri's AV
  7. Thanks for the link - nice looking box. Good pics of Realers, too.
  8. Here is a photo of the other side of the polybag - maybe it'll help.
  9. Here are some pics of ones that I have that I don't think are included in ones that Ron posted. Apologies if any duplicates.
  10. Ric - no idea where they were sold. I have a couple Gropper bags, too. One mesh, a little different than Ron's and one polybag, which I have not seen many of. Not sure what marbles in the polybag.
  11. Interesting bags, Kestrel. I had not looked closely at some of those over the years to see the Woolworth's name on them. While I have increased the number of bags in my collection, including advertising bags, since the 2009 post above, I have not come across any older Woolworth's bags, poly or mesh.
  12. Neat article - thanks for sharing.
  13. For someone who is colorblind, you have a great eye!
  14. Foreign - Japanese - 3-way cross-through.
