  1. Ann did not mention pink - this pic from Block's auctions back in 2004.
  2. I emailed the seller and told him some collectors thought they were Bulgarian and new and asked if he had any provenance. He just emailed back "I don't".
  3. I think it is King, Queen, Jack,.... LOL!
  4. Al Oregon

    New?

According to Pete's Spreadsheet (from Land of Marbles website & forum), 1997 was when they started being marketed in the US.
  5. Bill Tow has taken some great pictures over the years. Here are some he took of CA Submarines
  6. I don't see Parrots there. Bag worth maybe $15 to $25 max.
  7. And, as Galen says, many others. Here are some that put out several different types of bags and/or boxes - Wells Mfg (All Season, Fun Set), Codeg (Cowan de Groot - Europe), Danlee, Gordy Int'l, Hop Ching, Jak Pak, M Shimmel and a few Japanese side - Arco, Camel, Dog Brand, Wales, Paas, Sun Brand and Uncle Jack (which was Pressman - made in Japan).
  8. There's no picture of the cover of the box in the 7-Up listing. Thought I'd mention it as the box can be where the value is.
  9. I agree with the Spiderman term for Blue & Red. When there is some yellow blending in with the red (orangey), that's when I was told it become a Superboy.
  10. I'd say Vacor for sure. Not sure about Galaxy (maybe Stelaris or an older one with no name) but here are some pics from years past by Don Miller and Mr. Bales of the Vacor "Guinea" types.
  11. Here is one of Galen's pictures from 2005
  12. One in lower left is part of Champions group ID'd by Ric & Ron at Texas Show some years back. Looks similar.
  13. Sorry to read this. My condolences to family and friends, too.
  14. After looking at the pictures in the 4 posts, I'd say that Peltier is a good bet.
  15. Sorry to hear that. Prayers to his family.
  16. That seems like a fair price - actually is a bag that I don't have.
  17. And, probably one of the first handmade cat's-eyes - by Ro Purser in 1974-75 (picture by zaboo).
  18. A real cat's-eye bag (see label/header) - Pressman.
  19. I would say that it is not European based on my limited knowledge - seems like the Europeans have a little gap on the seams.
  20. Does look like another snotty
  21. Here's Galen's picture from 2007 of CA's with "tongues", which I think are the diaper folds.
  22. Thanks - another scorcher (98 or so - 9th or 10th day in a row over 90) out here in Oregon where it is normally in the high 70's, low 80's. No humidity so just hot (like Arizona heat).
