I'll throw a monkey wrench in here . . . I can see why you are thinking Akro, VaMarbles, especially in the left marble in the first and third photos, and the right marble in the third photo. I can see the wrap around at the seams, I don't know a better or more technical term than that. I have two photos of Akros that I'd like to share here that makes me think yours are Akro. The first one, is a very lazy cork that share the colors of yours and shows how the wide flat cork looks at the seams. The second one is also a very wide cork that shows the pattern of what I'm trying to describe as the wrap around at the seam of a wide lazy cork, the two photos on the right. -Jess

I love that she had marbles in her purse when you first met her, and that you made sure from then on that you had some with you in case you ran in to her ❤️ It seems like her son would be happy knowing that her collection went to someone who could appreciate not just the marbles, but her collection. This is such a great hobby.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 9+ and love it, I haven't upgraded in years and Samsung is on version 25 now I think. I love the camera on this older phone and I use a $45 macro lens that I add to it for marbles. Thank you!

Metallic and/or AV is really hard to show in a photo, at least for me. I haven't figured out the trick yet.
-
That first marble was not too difficult to capture the metallic. The second marble was much more difficult to show in a photo for sure.
-
Thank you! I was super excited to find any kind of metallic on a cork 🤩 and even more so that @VaMarbles posted an Akro that has metallic.

Added a little bit better photos, might help.

I should have waited until I got my camera lens out again before posting this for ID. I'll get better pictures.

Then I agree! That sure looks like a Master Made to me.

Does that have an orange peel like surface texture?

Okay, thank you ! This one will now live with my derisory collection of Pelts

This seems like a good time to ask about this one. I've had this marble for about 18 years, it's the only one like it in my collection and years ago I attributed it to being Canadian. It was more of a feeling because of the smooth change of colors. I've looked for the post that gave me that idea, but I cannot find it now. Canadian of some sort? 21/32"

Thanks Art! I'm on page 4 of the Vitro Lovers post, only 30 more pages to go I'm hoping to get a better feeling for them, thanks for the response!

*making notes on Type I Vitros* It is opaque white, and sounds like it's a Parakeet! *making more Vitro notes* Thank you Ric 🫡

This one came with a bunch of Vitro marbles, but I'm not too confident in calling it a Vitro. That Purple is something else. There is also a lot of annealing fractures in the Yellow which I tried to show. To be honest it's more that I'm not too confident in ID'ing a Vitro, any ideas? 19/32"

I bought a group of marbles on ebay because I thought this one was a corkscrew and thought 'What a weird color combination for Akro!', it tricked me. A cool Vitro Shooter. 15/16"
