  1. Gray cork on Yellow (Those Gray and Yellow CACs .... wow! )
  2. Wow, sure looks like it , good eye
  3. Holy smokes! When I grow up I want to be like Alan! A group shot of my favorites ...
  4. Wow! Great Akros everyone!! Thanks for sharing Bumble, I'm sorry, I just got this one, still in love with it, those are definitely some nice mibs you have there <3
  5. This is a group shot of what I've collected over the last couple weeks. Can't get enough of these beautiful Akros. I absolutely love the size of the bubbles in the 8 o'clock position. I don't see that very often. (Ann the baby blue is an Auger ) If anybody wants to share their prized Akros here, I can't get enough of them. Would greatly appreciate more pics of Akro.
  6. Omgosh! I literally just fell off my chair. Especially for that one . . . . . .
  7. My initial reaction is Ravenswood, thought I'd throw it out there. Beautiful blue in that.
  8. Wow, that is a bizarre marble for sure. What size is it? I am by far an expert, I just love Akro glass. I'm sure the arguments have been made previously, but in my opinion, that looks like it was an incredible hybrid Popeye with Oxblood, ground down.
  9. I don't know if it helps, but here are all the other photos I took of it the other day.....
  10. It is a blue base. The photos were taken with a black background , back lit and with a flash.
  11. Hmm, would any more pictures help?
  12. Here are the best photos I could take of the seams, hope these help.
  13. Sure will, give me a bit though
  14. This marble was in a lot I recently won, a nice surprise, I didn't see it in the photos provided. There was a similar marble in the lot, same size but way less Ox blood in it, just a thin strand. I don't know the maker though, any thoughts? It has that brushed on surface white that I associate with Vitro. 21/32"
  15. That's great John I wish I had time for a reference or an inventory like that. I need to figure out a cool way to display mine. I've run out of room in my one little display box that I have, and right now my more recent purchases are just sitting on my desk lol. But with 50 hour work weeks and weekday obligations, too much going on. Ugh. Someday. For now, I'll just search and collect.
  16. That is a beauty Ric! Great color combination and contrasts but I just received this one, the gray has a metallic quality to it, haven't seen this yet on a corkscrew. 21/32"
  17. I've had this one for a while, I don't have many corkscrews with brown. 23/32"
  18. That's cool! Maybe there was a run of them. And I'm a little curious about what you mean by working with one
  19. I thought the grayish/blackish stripe along the outside of that red was strange, I was thinking it was just a bad mix between the colors.
  20. I've purchased a few from him, first thing that comes to mind is EXCELLENT packaging. They come in a box and protected inside. I have no idea where he came from but the marbles I've purchased are great for the price, and I'm basing my purchases solely on the photos, rather than on the grading. And I have to agree, a LOT of the german handmade marbles have a polished look to them.
  21. This one is new also, kind of unusual, to me anyway 21/32"
  22. My new love, just received it this week a Blue Green Spiral.
  23. Wish I could help, it sure is a pretty one, great collection!
  24. Ack! The eyelashes, the subtle bubbles and the striations in that clear glass in that first Snake! Steph is right, I'm short of breath. Dang, I need to go to a show, I really really really need to go to a show. That thin orange snake is gorgeous too, Congrats!
