  1. Very nice mibs!!! I still have a few Akros, here is one thats a little different.
  2. Good to know Brian, There is even a little of what looks like Ox in it.(see pic) I was questioning whether it was even a melted pontil because the cutoff looked a bit like a reject machine made twist but the soot around the cutoff convinced me. Scott, I am not positive which one you mean but it may be a Blackie. There were several, some black and some purple middle bands. Also found some of these what I guess are Vacors Black based mibs
  3. Big monthly antique sale. All but 13 were in the pin.
  4. Definitely not mega but I know the ones you are talking about, Not a Lutz but a blue base banded transparent. There was a great variation thats for sure.
  5. finds a nut occasionally. It has been more than a year but I found a few today. One melted pontil with colors I have never seen.
  6. click on [show automatic bids] and that will help explain how that can happen.
  7. Tell you what Lou, since you asked so nicely I will go on a self imposed no bad talk about Jabos for 30 day moratorium. If I can handle it without exploding maybe it will lead to a longer length of time. Man I hope no one posts any that look vintage And I hope I don't feel like a guy that doesn't stop to help someone getting beat up by some punks.
  8. several in 2007 and a few in 2008 until the first special run. Glad you all do not see anything bad about some of them. I even have a small collection of classics. Here are some and some 2006 bigguns. I never say anyhing bad about the new runs at Jaboland
  9. Happy Birthday to one of the biggest and best smiles in marbledom!!
  10. I believe they have the right to make any type marble they want. I do not have to like it if they choose to make imitations of vintage mibs. And much of the goldstone Ox appears to be true Oxblood glass. Maybe it wasn't completely intentional but adding another color first sure would have eliminated the possibility of dead on mimics. So only a few minutes of White and Ox, guess thats better than a few hours. When even Bocci says they look like the real deal(milky Ox) I gotta believe they do.
  11. Didn't see chartreuse in all of them. hope it is
  12. After all the talk that they would not purposefully make marbles that look like vintage types and my wondering if it would happen I guess my questioning has been answered. And I think it sucks. I am sure there are many that don't. I just refuse to believe it is necessary or good for the hobby. I bet I am not alone. I do not want or need to argue about this. I don't mind reading if or why folks do like them. Just don't like reading I am stupid or crazy for feeling the way I do. Thanks
  13. I wonder if the purposefully tried to make Milky Oxbloods? Sure looks like it to me.
  14. If you want some of the New Runs do some research and buy directly from the folks that sponsored the runs. There are some numbers available at. Jabo boardMost can be had for 1-2 dollars each
  15. Just noticed the asian box it is in. Hope these babies are not coming out of China now. (but I would not doubt it)
  16. Nice newer fake IMO. Notice how the top and bottom leaves(?) are individually painted and decorated, not the single brush stroke that are on the genuine types. One of those Too much of a good things IMO
  17. Could be some melted pontil transitionals. Let us know.
  18. 5/8" they were Brian Grahams if I remember correctly. I have seen many of those types from numerous boxes.
  19. Other than the ones like the box examples I couldn't help. I do believe they made a lot that are probably indistinguishable from many WV swirls.
