I would never guess that marble is CAC. I have noted that much of their transparent glass is as clear as colored water and has many tiny bubbles. Like the red on the left and the blue on the right. here are some from a CAC box

That is the worse one I have seen. The top doesn't even fit the bottom and for anyone to believe that was a marble box something is really wrong!!!! More money than brains comes to mind.

Rich, I have participated in the making of the micro mibs. What I described I have watched in person. The tiny pieces were placed on fireproof 1/4" x 12"x12" asbestos like board hit with the torch while shaking moving the board and the pieces basically rounded themselves. I was a bit general in my description. And here are some of the micro mibs. I believe they are a lot smaller than you were thinking.

I only know of the one UV run that I guess may have been for collecters but the original marketing was geared towards kids. I do not know of any (Runs) geared to collecters and not kids. I may be out of the MK loop? I also missed your ? mark which shows I need to read a little better.

Bruce, I believe you are correct. Did I mistakingly post somewhere that they did?? Seems I post a lot that gets interpreted a bit different than I intend. I will attempt to be much more clear in my future postings here. That way I should minimize folks guessing what my intent was.

Edna, I could actually care less what you believe. I was there you were not. I may have generalized a bit but that was the basis of the conversation. Yes Joanne has controlling interest. David said she(Beri) just wasn't offering enough as she only wanted a couple of the machines and the accounts. I was not disputing the fact they are friends. It is a bit hard to stay light hearted when a small vocal group post nasty things almost every time I post. See #24 above for a perfect example. It seems some folks just can't have a discussion without getting personal and nasty. I think I have done real good staying on the high road during the numerous attacks. It sure seems that as the value of marbles went up and folks began making monetary investments in various marble ventures the seriousness and lack of senses of humor have increased proportionately on the boards. So sad for the newbies.
