I have seen Argentina, Brazil, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Turkey and USA listed on toy machine made marble packaging. And many of those besides the USA had-have multiple companies. Just added Turkey to the list
Pretty sure those are some of the newer Chinese types. Scroll through here http://www.landofmarbles.com/loose-playing-marbles.htmland you will see most of them
Ann, none of the "Canadian" types I have, have a long curved cut off. most are smooth with a few having short small indentations. I have always bought any handgathered types I can find and the boxes I have held seen or have had of Made in Japan types have a preponderance of rough spider web type cut offs. The nicer glass smoother or no cutoff types I have accumulated never seem to be in a marked box. I have always assumed that Germany went through most of the same marble making processes we did which would have involved numerous hand gathered machine rounded marbles. Just makes sense to me. And I have had a few solitaire boards that had hand gathered slags that to me were obviously not American made and were made in Germany. I would guess that the box posted has rough cut offs and are probably Japanese made????

Well here is the first flight with the newest set up. Just a slight vibration I need to get rid of and I may be able to get some decent video. Turn down your volume as it recorded the prop sound.
They go farther than you can see them. They lock on GPS so you can at any time take your hands off the controls and they stay exactly where they are.at the time. The DJIs and one of the cameras I just got send a signal to your cell phone so you can see real time from the drone. You can even plot a flight plan and have them fly autonomously, that is why they really are drones. You can buy one right now(Cheerson CX_20 and add cameras gimbal etc. For the Drone 300, camera 50-300, gimbal 50 -300,.Transmitter receiver for camera 75-500 They have a return home feature in case they get out of sight. The limiting factor and where the most extra money is spent idsthe video down link that lets you see in real time what the drone camera is filming. I have a couple new cameras and set ups I will be experimenting with.
DJI has the best ones That film was Phantom Vision and on a very windy day. The DJI phantom vision + is about 1100.00 right now and it is fantastic. Comes with everything and is ready to fly. The DJI Inspire is over the top and 2000+
It has been real windy the last week so I am totally anxious to get the new set up in the sky and see how well it films. They have spectacular possibilities, many birds actually come to check them out and the dog gone hawks will even take one down every so often.
Here is what the trunk looks like right now(LOL)
