  1. So this is where the Bunyan's went. That is ok, I have five or six of these bags. But it was a good deal.
  2. Congratulations ! That sure is something to be proud of. Amazing what all feelings, history and memories a piece of glass can hold.
  3. The second one is. The blue looks different on the first one ? It may just be the lighting. It is probably Ravenswood.

    Vitro bag

About $5.00-$10.00 at most US marble shows.
  5. Correct a Vitro but not helmet. Like you said half or helmet wanna be. The second one is Akro.
  6. It is a Akro patch. No Akro named watermelon. Watermelon is a Marble King name for a high dollar vintage marble and newer ones.
  7. I sold my 100 count mint Sparkler box about 4-5 years ago. I miss it sometimes but Nola still has its brother or sister. They were together since they had been filled, until we separated them.
  8. I agree with the size and colors I have to go with MFC.
  9. Both are Alley. The top one is the Alley Strawberry Shortcake. Which is white base, with red swirl that fades to pink with a small amount of tan.
  10. I have no way of knowing if this one or these for sale are original or a copy or reprint ? The listing says original. But Ravenswood Novelty did have this orange sales brochure. The boy pictured on the left with the plaid shirt is Chuck Cox son of later Ravenswood Novelty owner Paul Cox. The boy on the right is Lee Hudkins a first cousin of Chuck Cox. I think Lee Hudkins mother was the sister of Charles Turnbull the original owner of Ravenswood Novelty. I know they have been sold for 25 years or more. But recently more available than in the past.
  11. The first three are Alleys made at the St.Marys site . A few of the first one were also made at Sistersville and Pennsboro. But the vast majority of the first one were made at St.Marys WV. The last one may be Champion or something newer ?
  12. I have a few hundred vintage soda pop bottles on a couple garage walls. I am out of room, even for six pack cartons and full bottles now. Every little town had their own brand along with the big brands. I have got another dozen of different six packs full bottles since this picture.
  13. #1 Alley #2 Alley or Heaton #3 Ravenswood #4 Alley
  14. All modern and most likely foreign to the US.
  15. All modern and most or all foreign to the US. Most were from Asia and packaged by Imperial toy. The vast majority of any with the iridescent shine will be modern most foreign. A few modern iridescent marbles were made by Jabo. Not many vintage iridescent marbles, a few by Vitro late 1980's and very few by Peltier.
  16. No more Sistersville marble shows. Jim King decided that twenty years was enough.
