  1. That is a very good possibility. The pictures need to look like the actual marble to have a good identification. I see it is on ebay, so we will see if people want it as a Alley ? If St. Marys Alley it would be common. But the two different blue colors and super bright orange threw me away from normal common St. Marys Alley .
  2. Probably Champions. Very close to Alley Curly Kate. But the Alleys this color are not as busy, or full. Plus the Alleys this style and color are nice clear glass. These have some seedy glass(bubbles). Champion got very close to some copies of or like Ravenswood and Alley swirls.
  3. I agree Akro. I have never heard of Akro Beach Ball. MK beach ball has four colors on white.
  4. Looks modern. Maybe it is the lighting but not like any Alley I have seen. I see two maybe three at the most colors which were added. Other slight different shades are bleed, not separate colors.
  5. Maybe Jabo where Griff added the frit ? Vacor or Jabo both modern and value about ten cents each.
  6. Which pictures are the true color ? True color is many times the one trait that can make a identification. These are either Champion or Alley ????????? Never seen a lavender CAC Snottie.
  7. No Parrots. A Vitro Parrot is white base with four other colors. The best ones have no white showing. They can be patch and ribbon or swirled in larger sizes. Upper left(looks green) is Akro patch. The center one is Akro. Vitro Parrots on frog
  8. Peltier white and black zebra with aventurine 5/8 size mint $15.00-$20.00, near mint $10.00-$15.00. Any over 5/8 size would be more.
  9. I have collected Vitro marbles for over 25 years. I was friends with two Vitro plant managers. I have never heard the term Bubble Gum associated with Vitro marbles. Maybe a facebook marble term ? Lots of new marble collectors there and making up all kinds of new names of their own.
  10. Most common vintage handmade of this size, $50.00- $75.00 max. if no big or deep chips. Found at every marble show.

    And these

The 2nd, 3rd, 5th (frosted) groups are foreign to the US, Mexico or Asia. 4th group ? Would need more pictures and different angels. The last group of four are interesting. One looks like a Vitro Chick Pea but more pink than red. Can only see one cut line. First group of weak blues are common US made game marbles. Nothing of any collector value.
  12. Any wood would burn up at 2000 degrees at which this marble was made. You can get plastic calipers for $3.00-$5.00 . Some of the factories used box end wrenches to check size. It had to be steel because the marble was 800-1000 degrees. Calipers are the most accurate and plastic will not harm the glass. A draftsman circle template is close. Any office supply will have them for $2.00-$3.00 . You can find either on ebay.
  13. To many for me in one post.
  14. The first four rows are common for many companies. Most collectors consider them a type of game marble. Game marbles can be opaque or clear or colored transparent. The colored clearies can have all kinds of things or color inside. Just like some clear marbles do. Most or the vast majority of these cannot be identified because almost if not every machine made marble company produced them from 1930,s until 2000 or later. This and because of the large numbers found anyplace are why they have almost no value. Bricks are oxblood. There is no oxblood here.
  15. I agree if the third one is over one inch, it is Vacor. Size matters.
  16. Probably Alley swirl. But if it glows, it is Jackson.
  17. Top left Akro Cherry Ade. It should glow under a black light. Top right Alley swirl. Middle row left Peltier. Second Akro or Vitro. Third Alley swirl. Fourth probably Akro cork. Third row left probably Champion. Second, Egg shaped Master. Third probably Jabo with the clear base. Fourth MK or chance of Akro.
  18. Such great memories and good times with long time and new friends. Plus the marbles, artifacts, and more new information. Which was within hours of being lost forever. Chuck, Thanks for posting all this, for marble collectors everywhere.
  19. Jabo - Vitro - Vitro - looks newer ? - Alley
  20. Three modern contemporary marbles. The third one is a modern machine made marble, not old or handmade. Values #1= $15.00 #2= $3.00-$5.00 #3= 50 cents #4= $10.00 .
  21. The center and bottom right may be transitional, half hand made and half machine made.
