  1. Left is probably a common Vitro cage cat eye. The other two are modern contemporary torch made marbles.
  2. Vitro All Red is a white base with one red patch on one pole or side of the marble and a patch of a different color on the opposite pole or side. Vitro All Reds D-E-F - H K= probably Vitro helmets. They look like a football helmet. They are a white base, the face area is usually colored transparent, a colored ribbon back the center or middle of the helmet.

  14. All Cat Eye's were marketed as Cat Eye's. I also considered a Akro Sparkler as a Cat Eye. But I never seen any marketed as a Cat Eye. I am not sure there was any "injection" method for making Cat Eye marbles. I am not sure what the injection method is for machine made marbles ? Injection is using force to move something. I have never heard of or seen any pump or device that made pressure or forced hot glass flow, in making machine made marbles. I am always looking for more marble making info if someone has any. I will never live long enough to find or learn it all.
  15. Sparklers used to all have five or six colors. But smaller numbers of colors were found in Akro Sparklers. So the name sparkler has opened up wide so it fits many marbles now. Sparkler name lost a lot of its meaning and value. Lots of cat eye marbles has turned into sparklers. You can probably label any marble above as a sparkler. The name does not mean a lot of money or much value any longer. Sparkler prices or values now can range from $2.00 to $200.00. Sparkler name used to mean a good $75.00 to $150.00. It is a much bigger lot to pick from now and a big range of prices or value. Call them Sparkler or Cat Eye or vaned marble or make a brand new name.
