nutz4lutz
Here's the 7/8" Vitro I have currently listed and then 2 pics of a 7/8" marble from the same collection. I was having trouble getting the clear deep blue to show honestly in the last two. The base glass is identical though.

MrsMopar
Lovely marbles! I wish lacart and vintagemarbles well on their sales. These are definitely eye-candy! :-) Felicia
VTAndrea
The picture rang a bell and I went pawing through my Vitros. I have one exactly like the ebay listing, only just 29/32. The cobalt base is stunning and I'm a sucker for the V's. I think I picked up mine in an antiques shop in Lakeland, FL.
stacyw
Here's my example, a little late. The photos are poor but this may be why they call it a "blue devil", because it's a "devil" to photograph. Mine has a little "tornado" action going on inside where the purple stretches from top to bottom through the center. Stacy
spara50
Yes, Vitro for sure. I have had half a dozen or so over the years collecting Vitro. They are very hard to find, don't usually bring big money, but very nice marbles. Craig
m!b$
If nutz4lutz says it's Vitro, then it is. He's that good! Not trying to change the subject or hijack this thread, but I recently sold a marble that I was sure was Vitro only to be told it was Master, by the buyer, who I believe is a Vitro collector (Chuck Brandstetter). It was nearly 1", had an opalescent base, and the colors look to be a dead ringer for Vitro's colors. So could I get your expert opinion on this one, nutz? http://www.ebay.com/itm/160711329293
MC Marbles
Your buyer is an expert.
RunnersDad
What do you qualify this Vitro as? Same Blue base, but has the conqueror Patch/Ribbon pattern?

Yours might have had thicker colors but mine look a little more substantial in hand than my foggy picture shows.
m!b$
What are you showing there, Steph? "Alox shooters" is what you named the photo. Mine looks alot like that bottom left one. FWIW, I asked Marblealan about my shooter some years ago, and he thought Vitro too.
m!b$
I just got a reply from the buyer, cwb, who says he is 100% sure that it is a Master Sunburst, not Alox or Vitro. So, that's good enough for me.
Columbusrockhound
I have one too, but it's just covered with mid/heavy damage. Well, it was. Rather than trash it, I did slip it in with my machine ground Jabo project. I was leaning Vitro. Really stunning marble.
nutz4lutz
The colors look a lot like some on Vitro's pallette, but they radiate out from two pole points. Masters do that. Vitro's don't do that, they have two seams. Even when they look like they don't, they do.
m!b$
Thanks, Bob. I can see now that it doesn't belong with Vitros.
