Poplarhead Posted March 26, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 I remember going into Woolcos- which was a large department store (like a Walmart) owned by Woolworths back in late 1960s and seeing a huge aisle of marbles in bags (thousands of bags). I went back twice and ended up buying about a thousand Allreds (the light brown line swirly type of Allreds and weak colored red patches), cage style catseyes, and clearies.
